Not a very welcoming establishment! Staff were rather standoffish, and hardly spoke, acknowledged or replied to you.

As for food, we only ordered fish and chips, fish was good but the chips could have done with longer as they were soggy. Portion size was good and the place appeared clean.

Would have awarded more stars if the staff had been friendlier.

Fish and chips, smallest bit of fish I had seen, chips were greasy. Sausage was good, tasty. But expensive, wouldn't bother going here again

Having only discovered this chip shop a few weeks ago, I have been back several times since. The fish in this chip shop is the best fish I have tasted, ever. Over the last 52 years of my life I have visited many chip shops all over the country. This place makes the best cod in batter I have ever tasted. It is reasonably priced with crispy batter and flaky flesh. I will now travel an hour to get fish and chips from here. They have an inside sitting area and an outside table too. As well as the fish being amazing, the chips are superb. So creamy and well cooked. This place is cheaper than my local chip shop plus opposite the chip shop you have one of the cheapest petrol stations in Wales. So we fill up ourselves and fill up the car at the same time. The owners of the chip shop and their staff are very friendly. There is parking on the premises and a larger car park next door. They accept card payments, which is a bonus in these times when no one carries money anymore
