Anka's Traditional Fish and Chips

Was the best fish and chips in town. Didn't bother going anywhere else..... Until now. On 2 occasions found hair in food. Once in chips (let this go) even thoughthey were not up to the usual standard. Tasted old.
Second time hair in fish under the batter. Also didn't get all ordered food. Called restaurant numerous times. They don't answer. Went to restaurant advised them not received fish. Response... Are you sure it comes in a blue box like this.
Well now you have explained it ....
No apology. Lost a customer who has been coming since day 1.

Waited 50 minutes for food this evening in the cold . Couldn't do phone order either . Poor service for greasy food . Wont use there again . Not worth the money.

I order 2 lunchtime meals and two can of.pop and 2 scallops. The food turned up 30 mins later than time given and when received the food I opened up the meals very greasey and looked like it had been sat for ages would not recommend going here

Over 50 mins late, app said delivers but the driver was sat across the road for nearly 8 mins before he bothered to deliver I called the restaurant 135x no answer just busy tone. The food was room temperature at best. The chips when pale soggy and smushed together. We ordered 3 cakes 2 carrot and one “homemade cake” the carrot cake was stale and the “homemade cake” was a soggy chocolate eclair in which the custard was on the turn clearly left out of the fridge.Will never order again shocking.

So disappointing. I don't know if they had problems tonight but our order was an hour late with no update provided through the Uber Eats app, despite several requests. When the order arrived (an hour and 15 minutes after we were told it had been picked up by the courier) it was hot, so the delay was definitely not the delivery driver's fault. Chips were one greasy, squashed together mass and the fish was surrounded by a layer of batter so thick that, other than the very outside, it wasn't cooked. We'd heard so many great things about Anka's but unfortunately, our experience was terrible.

This was the worst meal I have ever had bar none. I have had good teas from here before but never will I order again. Where to start....cold peas, cold gravy, tepid chips and a small NOT large fish that was warm. The only part of the meal that was edible was the fish and as I said it was small...I know this because my daughter and wife had ordered small fish and this was the same size. All in the bin bar fish!!!! Thanks for nothing

So they make probably the best wrap in deeside but I have ordered 2 wraps for delivery they said it will take 20minutes I thought I will have a quick meal... Well I haven't waited for 1hour and called them they said 5min drivers is on the way so another hour passed no one is here... I am hungry and waisted 2 hours of my life. Totally disappointed 😔

Come early and stone cold!!!! The donner kebab come on top of what looked like a pizza base. Chips stone cold to. All looked like left overs from last night but forgot to heat it up. Never again and kept just in case I am ill.
Avoid big time.
