Aberbargoed Fish And Chips

Lovely food, we had the fish shop munchies box for £9 bargain. Easily feeds 3. Garlic Pizza bread, Small sausage, 2 fish bites, 2 chicken nuggets, onion rings, pot of gravy and pot of curry, chips and a choice of Mars bar in batter or Pineapple fritter.

If carling done bad fish & chip shops then this would probably be the worst fish & chip shop In the world. The curry was the powder type not the usual curry you would expect from a chippy. The mozzarella sticks and chicken strippers were obviously bought from Iceland. The chips were undercooked and cold and the cheesburger tasted as though it was left for a while then reheated as the bun was hard and stale. I waited patiently over 2 hours for delivery only to be disappointed with what I received. I personally would never go back to this takeaway after this experience. Very poor 1 star rating for both delivery service & food.

Delivered on time today. Generous portions. Delicious fish and batter, chips a bit dry but I guess it's the luck of the draw as to when they were cooked.
Good value, would use again.

Absolutely shocking! Been waiting 2 hours 30 minutes and it still hasn't been delivered even though we're only 10 minutes away and they said they left over 2 hours ago and everytime we phone the response is they'll be there in 5 minutes! Joke of a business and advise everyone to avoid! Foods going to be cold by the time it gets here....if it does actually get here....

Pathetic! Ordered 2 'large' gravy & chips which would barely feed a 2 year old. Mince beef pie & sausage in batter which were stone cold & rock hard. Asked for forks but received none, also asked for salt & vinegar but again none. To top it off it took 1 hour 20 to arrive. Many decent chippies in the area but this place is pitiful!

Well I thought i'll try the kebab from here. it was the worse kebab I've ever had meat was like cardboard (dry) no taste to it disgusting.pitta bread wa6snt cooked and all the food was freezing 🤢🤢

I am from Bristol and passing on my way to my cousin's and I was absolutely amazed
The fish is fresh and is cooked for each customer , the staff are friendly and keen the customers get the best service possible

Absolutely awful! The first time we went the curry had powder in it where it clearly hadn't been mixed properly. we gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back for chips and that was a big mistake! the chips were undone, pale and super greasy! Definitely would not recommend!
