One of the best fish and chip places around Bangor! I've tried a few chippies in the area now and this is now my go-to. It's reasonably priced and the food is always high standard, with good portions. The gravy, Chinese curry sauce and the battered fish is all 👌🏻 spot on. I think it's a family that own it and they're always on it with the service, very efficient and I've never had the order be wrong- even with a large group although the queues can get a bit long. Parking can be a bit tricky if it's busy too. There's a little off licence next door which is handy though for buying a few accompanying bottles of something while you're waiting!

3.6 Only do one size of fish but you can get a larger side of chips. Delicious Chinese curry sauce, would highly recommend. Not exceptionally long wait however they only take cash, no card.

Food was okay, but service took a long time considering it was just four of us. Cash only? Nice tax dodge.

I ordered a sausage bap with chips and the chap seemed to have no idea that was on the menu, then for some reason he wrote down the order as chip bap with a sausage ??? We had to repeat the order about four times. We asked for one of the chip portions to be vinegar only…. Didn’t happen. No ketchup packets.

Not local but needed take-away while in the area. Well cooked & great presentation in a box sectioning off the fish from chips, so no oil drippage from fish onto the chips. Eaten a lot of fish & chips recently on the road and this was definitely one of the better ones. Thanks!

Fast service, fish and chips were not greasy. The batter was light and you could tell it was fresh, the portions are greatly sized and are quite generous, definitely worth the price which is quite reasonable. needed a bit more vinegar but over all great meal as always.

Friendly staff and portions of a good size, so certainly value for money.

Food a little inconsistent ... on one occasions the fish was a little oily, and another the fish was perfect but the chips were slightly undercooked.
