In it's current state of ownership, the Trading Post offers pretty decent food for a pretty decent price. The staff are friendly and are happy to serve you as a customer. The only flaws I have encountered when visiting the Trading Post is extremely long waiting times for food if you don't happen to be the only customer inside. Whereas if you do happen to be the only customer at the time the wait can be a lot shorter, as I've had food given to me within a few minutes but sometimes over at least 15.

Portion sizes were good and the battered sausage was nice no rissoles available. Chips were a bit overcooked and greasy but ok. The women working there was mopping the floors in the customer area and instead of stopping until I left she asked me to move from the sofa i was told to wait on. I find this quite rude. Did feel a little bit like they were closing down which as a customer i should not see.

Just purchased a bag of chips and a curry sauce from our local newly opened chippy. Oh dear me chips appeared to be recooked and the curry sauce was cold and ultra thick. The lot went in the bin. Not a good start for a newly opened business.

Lovely local chip shop. Chips were lovely, had a battered sausage fish and Irish curry sauce and it was delicious

Dropped in for the first time on August bank holiday, freshly cooked to order fish and chips for two. Fantastic value and absolutely delicious fish and great chips. Coming from Eastbourne in Sussex these were the best fish and chips we have enjoyed in a very long time. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, so very glad we stopped by, we will certainly become regulars here.

Chips didn't have much flavour but were edible. Pie was dry. Ordered both Irish curry and chip shop curry but even though was assured that's what was in the bag definitely was not Irish curry, and curry sauce was lukewarm also not much flavour. Apart from that everything else was OK, but won't rush back I'm afraid!
