The Fallows Fish Bar

I have never been served greasy food in here, the batter has always been crispy on everything including the burgers.
Would certainly recommend this place.

I recently started going to this chip shop quite regularly. The food is to a good standard but the only let down is that the portions are a bit on the small side in some cases. Although I am not much of a fan of the chips on their own, products like gravy or cheese can really make up for it and make for a nice meal. The prices in here are also quite good, a decent meal can be bought for £5. The people in here are also friendly enough to talk to.

Great food but order turned up wrong ( no cheese in burger) only issue was the delivery driver first he forgot to take payment so I rang the shop and they sent him back but he was very rude (even though it was his fault) and even forgot to bring my change out of his car and complained when I asked for my change I assume it was because he had to walk back to his car for me over £5 change

Overall great food, great delivery times and 1 rude driver

We poped in on our way back from the doctors and my lovely lady molly who I help out (age 86) told the man behind the counter how she use to work there many years ago, when we asked how much our order was he replied its free to staff,
What a lovely act of kindness made my mollys day

Tried a lamb donner wrap and was really good

Best chippy in the city kebabs or fish n chips it's all great tasting food.

Ordered and paid through the website after checking their opening times beforehand. Order accepted and payment taken, yet 30 minutes later the website cancelled the order stating the chip shop is not open til 5pm. Now have to wait 3-5 days for refund, possibly longer due to a bank holiday. They need to turn their website off when closed and update their opening hours. Will not use again!

Just had the best fish, chips & mushy peas in Newport, fish very fresh batter light and crispy to die for, chips and mushy peas excellent all piping hot just one problem too large a quantity but not really complaining would definitely recommend.
