Joseph's Fish & Chips

Lovely food. Crispy batter and nice fish. Chips were well done with good salt and vinegar. Lost a star as no pickles were sold. There is limited parking out front. Good prices as well.

Normally this is a very good. However we had fish, scampi & chips this evening and am sorry to say that the cod was dry and chewy and there were no scampi at all. It was just a soft mush inside the coating. They were actually inedible and were thrown away. A waste of £3.50. Certainly would not recommend the scampi.

Rude service. Full of tuts and grumbles. Food was mediocre, not sure what they think scampi is but what they served wasn't this. Ended up having severe food poisoning from the cod (only one in the group of 9 to have cod only one I'll) I'd avoid. Only plus was the price, but then again is that a positive with the outcome.

We had cod and chips three times from here, each time the fish and batter were excellent, as were the chips. Big portions. The kids loved the cheesy chips. Cash only, there's an ATM nearby outside the co-op

Great food great chips not grease. Only problem no card on cash.

We only had chips to take onto the beach with us & the were delicious. Freshly cooked with some bread n butter, yummy 😋

Nicely organised, delicious and great portion sizes!!
