Elgam Fish Bar

I turned up at a very busy period and the staff were working hard. My patience was rewarded with an excellent dinner. The staff were friendly and hard working. I only had a chip roll with a gravy topping. When I was served my meal came quickly. The chips were brilliant and tasty and I will definitely be going again.

10 of us went to Big Pit for the day. By the time we got to the cafe they didn't have enough decent food for us all. Googled this place and were very pleased to find this place! Best fish and chips I've had! Very friendly service as well. Shame we can't come again, having come from Sussex!!

Best chip shop by far, staff are amazing and so friendly, which goes a long way! Very busy chip shop but always have time for a chat. Amazing food, great portion sizes and great value for money. Scott cooked my fish to perfection! Will definitely be returning!

Best chip shop around. We always order the kebab boxes. The chips are lush. The cod dips are to die for. Definitely by far my favourite take out. Ordered 2 in the last week so says it all lol.

Food is absolutely outstanding order at least once a week sometimes more lol very reasonably priced & food is plentiful, most of all the kids love it! Only takeaway they eat everything of. They go over and above to accommodate.

I generally love their food, the burgers, sausages, chips all very high quality. Then I thought I'd try one of their pizzas. What a utter disappointment. It is very clear a cheap 90p frozen pizza, with toppings chucked on top and resold. Hard cardboard like base. If you can't make pizzas yourself guys. Just don't sell them. It's a massive blotch on your otherwise decent menu
