Frankies Fish And Chips

Twice I have ordered from this chip shop using hungry house, first experience was OK, however I just ordered from here this evening and it was probably the worst take away experience I have ever had. I ordered kebab meat and chips, first of all I thought they had my order wrong because I had the smallest hand full of chips, I must of had six chips at the most. I thought I'd let it slide as I have a nice salad and meat. I bite into the chIcken it honestly tasted as if a full bag of salt had been tipped over it, I've never in my life ordered a takeaway and not physically been able to eat it . After an hour had past I had a horrible taste in my mouth which I just couldn't get rid of it was making me sick. I will not be ordering from here again.

Last night myself and a friend decided to go to Frankie's for some post night out chips. Normally Frankie's is a nice experience with nice food. However not this time. We were served by a man wearing a man united t shirt who was incredibly rude to us. So we ordered our food and then the man continued to talk to us. He at first asked if me and my friend were sisters which wasn't that bad. He then proceeded to ask us if we were in a relationship which is a strange thing to ask a customer. He then asked me if I was pregnant which I personally felt was extremely rude and upsetting. I am not pregnant just to clarify. That is most certainly not the kind of thing that someone should be asking their customers. He then began asking us other strange questions.
The man made us feel incredibly uncomfortable for the entire time we were there and it was horrible.
Once we got our food we left and the food certainly did not live up to how nice Frankie's used to be.

Chips are consistently bad and battered sausage somehow had a powdery texture when biting into it, possibly being the worst place I've ever bought them from. Not to mention its more expensive than other chip shops and even increased the price significantly with no change in food quality!

Haven't been here before but will certainly be back. The little wait was worth it for freshly cooked fish and chips. Batter on the fish is nice and crispy too as was the batter on the jumbo sausage. Very reasonably priced. Polite gentleman served us.

The food is good and cooked fresh. The owner is also really lovely. The only problem is the opening hours are a bit sporadic. Which means there have been times when we have gone down there for chips and it has been shut, even though it is peak chip time 5-6pm. Hence the 4 rather than 5 star ratings.

The fish and chips was delicious, customer service and hospitality was impeccable, clean tidy shop with seating. The food is Halal.

Was visiting from Birmingham with a few friends they all enjoyed the food and service. Highly recommended, keep up the good work guys

Excellent food - we had the southern fried chicken - and the service was absolutely brilliant. So friendly and eager to help. I will come to out of my way to come here next time I'm in Swansea!
