Brilliant Fish & Chips

Food was absolutely delicious, no faults there. But the portions were another story. Ordered a large cod and chips and medium cod and chips. Fish was a very good size but the chips… large was like a small, medium was like a kids size, in fact, there are probably bigger kids sizes. I paid £17, and still ended making dinner cos everyone was starving. This is the second and maybe last time I’ll be visiting this place. It’s unfortunate as their food is great, but i want to get the portion size i paid for.

Staff were lovely, guys behind counter very friendly. Food was fresh and piping hot. Really tasty, crispy and fluffy chips, perfectly crispy batter. A good potion size. In fact I ordered a kids meal each for myself and daughter and there was plenty, still full now hours later. Will definitely revisit.

We went to brilliant gosh and chips while on holiday. The staff were really friendly and the food was reasonably priced. The place was busy but it wasn’t too long a wait.
The food was tasty and hot. Not the best gosh and chips we have ever had but not far off it. Would definitely recommend.

Well if this is not fresh fish and chips I really don't know what is! Absolutely fantastic plaice and chips and the plaice was so large and meaty I must say this is the best fish and chips I've probably had in the last 10 years and you can tell the fresh fish over the frozen stuff you get locally. Look no further if you're on holiday or want to come into Caister for fish and chips. Highly recommend these guys and very friendly. Very reasonably priced as well.

Love this fish and chip shop. We visit every time we are staying at great Yarmouth. The batter is so light and not greasy at all. Chips are fresh and plenty of them.

Perfect Fish and Chips. We drove here because of the reviews and it was worth the drive. The food was perfect, it was fresh, good portion sizes and tasted brilliant. The staff were friendly and service was very quick. I would highly recommend this place!!!

I deliver and have eaten at the brilliant fish bar in Caister.
I always have cod and chips and the chips are always cooked to perfection. The fish I really love so white and fresh and the batter is very light and crispy.
Its such a great place so friendly always have a laugh there.
I will recommend to anyone go there and sample this great fish shop.

Battered scampi was delicious; So much nicer than breaded. We opted for a standard portion of chips and it was a very generous portion (large must be enormous).

A short walk away we found some picnic tables but this chippy was clearly where the locals went instead of the beach front cafés.
