Turners Fish & Chips

Food was nice, prices average, but the shop setup was pretty disorganised. Still have the covid setup by the looks of it, and concentrating on phone orders etc, which makes just going into the shop a bit manic and crammed. Food was served quite quickly though, and they do bring it out to the car to save you sitting in the tiny waiting area.

Excellent food quality and sensible prices.
Order contained, Burger, Popcorn Chicken that were more like Chicken mini fillets, Pie and ofcourse Chips.
Family of 5, everyone happy and full.
Will definately be visiting again!

My wife and I was driving through on a trip to Scotland and stopped overnight at the local premier Inn we enjoyed the food so much that we booked at the same motel for the return trip. My wife is a very fussy eater but thinks they were the best chips that she'd eaten. Staff were friendly service was prompt and the food hot and delicious, don't take notice of some of the negative comments on here. Would definitely come back..

Change your fat. At £2.50 for a bag of chips, stale fat isn't good enough. UPDATE - Thanks for your response. You guess that my review was based on price was incorrect. I could have rejected the food on being charged. I didn't. I knew what you were charging anyway. You could have been giving the food away, the chips were still rotten. The enthusiastic self-promotion of your response does not alter the fact that the product was poor because the fat was too old. I made no comment on the original quality of the 'spuds', only what they tasted like after being fried in the stale fat. I didn't buy anything else. What you perceive from other feedback is none of my business. Change your fat more often.

Lovely fish and chips, the kids demolished theirs. Perfect sized portions and reasonably priced. Quick and easy to order online and so pleased when they could deliver to our hotel. Excellent food and service, Thank you!

Its ok, alright for if your stuck for somewhere for lunch when working in the area. Large varied menu, burgers pies etc, and the chips are alright but not the best. The mushy peas however are awfull, absolutely zero flavour very bland, maybe they'll see this and rectify them who knows, but other than that not too bad 😎👍

Clearly don't care about there customers... been 3 times now when it says they are open and it's been shut!!! The place is hardly open anyway. Be going elsewhere from now on which is a shame becasue the food is good.
