Silver Fish Bar

I wouldn't be motivated to write a review unless it was extremely good or extremely poor, it was EXCELLENT. Only had chips, but still very worthy of comment.

All fried food appears to be cooked to order (nothing hanging around getting less crispy!)

My chips were consistently golden, tasty as hell and the woman added salt & pepper just as I would've myself!

Cant wait to go back and have fish too!

Recently tried at our new Chinese takeaway Silver Fish Bar and I must say it was the worst Chinese food I've ever had. The noodles were mushy, oily and tasted like old fatty oil. Very disappointed. Took a bite and had to throw the thing away. Even the vegetable spring rolls were inedible. They had a measly bit of veg inside and tasted like old oil. Do not recommend.

Our local fish and chip bar. The Chinese couple that run this place are so nice and so polite. Great fish & chips (at a fraction of the price of the Brockley Rock!) though they don't do scampi which is weird. But they DO do the best chicken curry and chips on the planet. Believe me, its worth a visit just for that.

Not had the fish but the Chinese is Not good at all. Will not be returning!!!
Very disappointing.

Have had food from here many times - both the Chinese and the fish and chips. The vegetables in the Chinese food are really fresh and crisp, sauces delicious, rice great. Fish and chips lovely as well. Plus very friendly and quick service.

No onions or beansprouts in my chow mein.
Rubbish

No nonsense chippy, the dark curry sauce is a great twist!

Excellent fish and chips cooked to order. Yum, yum.
