Gold Fish

Excellent service, I been to this takeaway many times, both through delivery and eating in. Friendly staff member at the till, always willing to take the time out to have a conversation and discuss how your day has been. The food is served fresh at all times, not once have I been and served old/cold food and this is because they value the customers. I am a regular goer and have made Goldfish my home on a Friday to enjoy the amazing Fish and Chips served here. Highly recommend!

Portions and quality worth the money. Staff is kind and makes sure you get your food the way you want it. I ordered in person and only had to wait a few minutes for my fish and chips to be made. We just moved to the area and this will become our local for sure!

Love the name first of all, Service was surprisingly good, food was tasty, chips were made really well and overall eating experience nice with music vibes in the background. Great place to have a quick breakfast or lunch, well done Gold Fish.

We ate food from Gold Fish on two different nights during our stay in London (June 2019). We found the owner to be friendly and accommodating and the food to be great. This was the best fish and chips we have ever eaten anywhere! The portions of fish and chips were incredible, especially for such low prices. The owner told us that the fish is delivered fresh daily from Scotland, and it is never frozen. He also cuts his own chips from fresh potatoes. We also had a pizza here, and it, too, was very good. I gladly recommend this eatery to everyone who is in the area. You won't be disappointed!

A truly great place and a very nice owner. I came for lunch with my 7 year old son last spring before a football game. We both had massive cod and chips and both were VERY good. I am taking him again this weekend to watch Arsenal v Chelsea and the first thing he said is "can we go to the same place for lunch?". We had hugely enjoyed our fish and chips but we also noticed another family having wonderfully smelling pizzas and great value for money prices as well. So son wants to try their Pizza this time and so do I. Last time I left my smart phone behind, came back to collect it half an hour later and it was safely kept away. Very strongly recommend this place.

I am a Londoner and a Chef to boot! And I can honestly say that this is the best fish and chip shop that I have encountered in many many years... Top quality fish and chips at a very reasonable price for London. Ahmad was a great host and cooked my meal to perfection! Don't laugh as many a establishment couldn't cook a fish if their lives dependent on it! So well done Ahmad. Keep up the great work and things will be brilliant for this establishment in the near future!

Horrible delivery experience the other week. Based on the comments from shift manager that night... Never order from this place if its raining as the people on bikes don't like delivering In the rain..... over an hour and a half for delivery... I could of walked there and back 5+ times

The only excuse I was given for delivery being late was its raining... pure incompetence and lack of apology until the 3rd call chasing my order! 3rd card was simply I'm sorry its stopped raining he'll be there soon......
