Freshly cooked plaice was lovely, massive portion of chips too, highly recommended

Really nice batter on the fish, chips were decent, not the best chips I've ever had. Curry sauce is excellent, a little on the pricey side compared to other chippy's locally but will go back.

Took 15 minutes for the food, but I was the only customer at 5pm so they could have just been opening.

Portion size is very small compared to other local take-aways. £5 Kids meals have 1 small sausage or 3 small cod bites and a handful of chips.

Large chips is only enough for one adult not to share like others can be. It was over £8 for the large chips and sausage but the battered sausage was A*

My total bill came to £18.60 for two kids meals and one large chips and battered sausage

After seeing some bad reviews here I thought I'd write an honest review.

I have ordered fish and chips from harrys chertsey pretty much every week.

I have never. I repeat never had any problem with my order.

Chips always cooked well not greasy and soggy like suggested in other reviews.

Again the fish batter always light and fluffy and cooked properly.

As I say I order from them weekly not once had a problem.

Also will add the delivery is quick and hot on arrival

Don't let the reviews with clear lies put you off, this fish and chip shop is good try a order and judge yourself, you will not regret it if you want fish and chips.

Went to get fish and chips but forgot my purse so only had change in the car the owner said just to drop it in next time i was there, what a nice guy ..staff are lovely and the fish and chips were great!! Recommend to all👍☺

Chips are £2.80 for a small (12-4-21) that are not a bad size, more than I could eat for lunch and they was very nice too, will pop in again sometime, staff are friendly.

Very expensive for sludgy fish with soggy fish skin. Really off putting, didn't enjoy
