Stopped off here after viewing a house up the road. Wife went in while I waited patiently outside. Wife went for fish and chips and I went for the kebab meat and chips. Chip shop was clean and the staff where polite and helpful. The food was amazing. One of the best kebabs I've ever had!! Presentation was really good not just smashed in like most other chips shops. Will definitely recommend and hopefully if we buy the house down the road I will be coming alot more for this great food. Thanks guys.

I’ve got an allergy to gluten. Eagles were able to cater for me and have a number of different gluten free options. Which was a very welcome and unexpected surprise. The fish and chips were fresh and cooked perfectly. I rang ahead and was able to collect 30 mins later. Great food and great service. Definitely recommend.

The only reason they fall short of 5* is because I can't get panapple fritters. Otherwise, this is a great chippy. Really good quality. Some really nice local produce. Can be busy but it's no surprise!

Lovely food but ages wait ! We ordered and payed for two curry sauces and received none so we went back and only received one. Lady behind the counter insisted she packed it. We were a group of teenagers so believe we were fobbed off because of our age. Wouldn’t visit again.

Might be quicker to pop to Welshpool or Oswestry.

Unless of course you are drinking in the pub next door. In which case stagger up to the door scream you order and walk off.

Then you get your food delivered to your table in the pub.

Avoid if possible!

The food was lovely, fresh fish and the chips also. We had the mini fish and chips with gravy for £5, you can choose the sauce, but while i can give the food 5 stars, the 35 minute wait for the food I can't, the queue just did not move, and wasn't even that long. The 2 girls behind the counter just didn't have much rush about them which is fair enough, but not when customers are walking away because of the wait which they did! Lucilky while we waited we got a pint from next door (via table service) and had a pint while we waited! I don't think I'd visit again sadly.

A good local fish and chip shop. Friendly staff and knowledgeable for those who are strict (pescatarian or halal etc) ie everything is fried in separate fryers. Good outdoor seating.
