the sprats are double the price of morrisons,for a £1 you get 16,at morrisons you get over 32,i also bought a crab last year,i would not buy another one from this shop

Fresh and delicious fish. Super friendly and very helpful Fishmonger. I am very happy to have found that place and look forward to my next visit. Best be there early, close to opening hours to have the full variety of seafood. This is true especially for Saturdays, when at noon all fish might be gone.

changed ownership a few years ago unfortunately. generally unpleasant. travel across town to Fishes - much better selection, quality and people all round - and used by best restaurants in town

Absolutely spot on, but maybe not many know it's Gibsons who have the stall in the Farmer's Market every Thurs in Exeter city centre too, with sometimes long queues . . that says it all, speaks of nothing but quality and popularity then. Delicious fish, and really glad I order in either from their stall the week before or phone their shop then pick it up at the farmers' market so you're guaranteed to get what you want before someone else gets it!

I'm yet to visit their fish HQ or Fish Heaven in Magdalen Road in Exeter to see what it's like, but if their shop was to be renamed, that's what I would call it . . Fish Heaven or Haven.

Not much I’d go to war over, but I would consider it for this fish shop. Expert staff. You will never eat supermarket fish again.

A went there today to buy some fresh prawns and hopefully crab meat but as I walked in there was not even hi or hello ... guy working there just looked at me like he was surprised to see a customer. There was a lady at the front of me in the queue with a big order and fishmonger had a pile of fish he was filleting for her, after watching him for 10 minutes I realized its gonna be a good 30 - 45 min before its my turn so I gave up and left. Shame he didn't even bother to say "sorry guys its gonna be a while " or perhaps "please come back later ". He was the only person working there. I'm not gonna bother again.
