It's a lovely place, very quiet. It wasn't that hard to find it. Nearby town is very cute. The lodges were cosy and clean with lots of abandoned spider webs. Sadly it was very windy for us, but we still had a chance to soak in the hot tube. The lady who checked us in and out were very friendly and kind. Thank you. I hope we can visit this place again when it's warmer.

A really great week. Fantastic setting, really friendly staff. Our lodge had everything we needed for a relaxing, comfortable holiday break. Clean and tidy. Loved it and Jim loved the fishing.

What an amazing and friendly place, we had a 15 day holiday there we did fishing and caught a lot of fish and good sized too
The owners of the park were so friendly and helpful definitely going back such a peaceful location and lodges had perfect view over the lake

Amazing for fishing here. The area is beautiful, the perfect place to relax. The original cabins are starting to look old and broken in places from the outside. Drive going into the place is really bad with potholes. I understand they trying to keep natural but the potholes could be filled.

My Mom and I stayed at dowlfor lodge for our weekend break. I was surprised to see the road it was shocking with lots of potholes,not good for my pregnant bump during drive the terrible road ( if anyone who is driving in dark it will gives them fright)! The lodge is okay - dated like 10 years ago, needs new carpets and bathroom. Beds were comfy and lovely view of the lake. One thing you have to put money for electric meter. Just the roads need to sort out.

This place is amazing. Came here for 3 nights stay. The pod was clean and warm (once we figured out how to use the heating system) the hot tub was the highlight of our stay. Good isolated location very quiet, there's a fishing lake for those who fish, the beach is very close by (7min drive) and snowdonia is a 40 minute drive from here. The wife really enjoyed herself and the time she spent here which makes me very happy. Would definitely recommend staying here.
