Studio Fly has helped me achieve what I thought was impossible: I always leave feeling confident, relaxed and like I’ve achieved something. Everyone is welcoming, so so supportive and the instructors are really encouraging, always pushing you to challenge yourself!
Loads of different classes to go to and try different things!

I spent a year at Studio Fly and thoroughly enjoyed the classes. The quality of teaching is of a high standard and the studio has a range of classes for a reasonable price. Most of the instructors are lovely, particularly Jess.

BUT,

I must say, that my experience as a new starter was not great. I felt that the studio was very 'cliquey', it was quite noticeable who the instructors favoured.

After the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, classes were almost impossible to book due to limited spaces as per government advice. I work for the NHS, so during this time I was working full time and only able to access certain classes. There was also limited classes available for my particular level and we were told not to attend classes that were unsuitable for our ability. I was unable to book on a number of classes due to high demand. I appreciate how difficult it has been for businesses but this meant my money was being wasted. When I reached out to management about these issues and asked for possible solutions such as temporarily suspending my account again, using credits for private classes instead (was happy to use more credits than a normal class to pay for a private) or a refund for unused credits, I was met with sheer rudeness. In fact, the first response I got was simply 'book quicker', and 'try a different class'. The COVID business plan for members was not great and very limiting, seemed very profit and money oriented. Such as, allowing members who continued paying during the COVID lockdown to support the business and accumulate class credits were allowed back into the studio before anyone else. Not to mention a slight plea on social media when it all first started to support the business and almost a guilt trip if you suspended temporarily. My partner also runs his own business so we had our own finances to consider. It almost felt like it was fine to suspend but those who chose to support the business were favourable.
I experienced rudeness from management on a number of occasions and was accused of being impatient and not being understanding enough. Posts on social media by management often seemed quite rude and cutting. Some comments were quite passive aggressive and aimed towards certain members which became quite uncomfortable.
Due to COVID 19 and the challenges of booking into classes whilst still working full time, I continued to raise concerns about the amount of money that I was wasting with very little solution and the sense of 'well tough' response. I could not even suspend my membership as they still kept in place their 2 month cancellation policy, despite how difficult it was to book classes. Meaning, in order to cancel to prevent money wastage during a challenging time, I then had to pay for a further 2 months and endure another 2 months of money wastage. Upon communicating these concerns in a polite manner, I was thrown out of my studio membership with immediate effect with no warning, I was then deleted and blocked on social media, as well as thrown out of the Facebook group.
I followed this up with an email of complaint that was never addressed.

Management are rude and unhelpful. I will never return to this studio and would encourage others to go elsewhere. I am not the first or the last to experience their rudeness either.

After I left this review on the Ware page the owners made a plea for everyone to go and leave a good review for the studio, I assume to try and cover up my bad feedback and boost their ratings again. I'd also like to point out a lot of these reviews are from the staff.
