1Rebel High Street Kensington

What a great concept and atmosphere of this place! I am beyond excited that qualities of coaches are so high and Programs are well designed for all levels of people can just pop in and enjoy exercise sessions. I was worried that my knee injury might be a problem to do those HIIT type of programs, but options for me are available, coaches are kindly look after you! Mostly this place is very cool place to hangout and they do super delicious smoothies. Your protein intake is sorted in here!

A lovely boutique gym that offers pay as you go classes which is super convenient. I was a newbie and had a cycle class with Helen. She was great and really pushed you to work as hard as you could. We stretched after which is was great. No complaints about the class. Front of house were good too although I had to enquire about shoes for the cycle. The changing facilities were good too. I am definitely going back.

I started the workout but I was kicked out of the studio (RIG class at 12:30 on Saturday) because I was only person on the bench and Ben did not bother to explain the exercises. I went to complain to manager and she said she did not care and to email 1rebel for complaint and reimbursement. No one said sorry!

Very overpriced considering the level of customer service shown by management (non existent- 6 weeks since I emailed the manager and still no reply). The floor in the reformer studies is always dirty. The bikes in the cycle studio are a complete pot luck as to whether you get one that works. The rig sessions are very repetitive and crowded- sometimes there’s not even room to do the actual movement. It’s a shame because Core Collective which was here before was great.

The classes at 1Rebel are always fantastic. Usually the front desk is also very accommodating and informative. This time, I was met with a desk attendant on her phone who then went right back to it after checking me in. No “hey, locker rooms are this way” which would have been helpful as I’d never been to this location before. Fine, I’ll find it myself. However, I was booked for 2 classes and when my Reformer class ran over, they wouldn’t allow me into the next Reshape for which I had registered. When I tried to explain it would have been helpful to know prior to my joining the other class that I’d need to leave early as their schedule is not at all staggered and one class starts immediately as another ends, a second desk attendant was rude, argumentative, and unhelpful in front of a full lobby of people. My feedback was reasonable, that if someone is booked for more than 1 class, it would have been useful to let them know to leave the first class early. Especially confusing as someone joined my previous class late so i guess the rules don’t apply to everyone. I usually sing 1Rebel’s praises but this was embarrassing and upsetting treatment. Great workout, horrible customer service.

This is the worst gym in London. Very rude staff and they don’t care about members. Music is bad. Personal trainers are rude and not professional. They try to flirt with girls and talk in a very cheap way. Price is high and even if you have a complain. They will just ignore. I personally complained about one of the staff and no one cared. I asked to cancel my membership because of this incident and they just completely ignored. I really didn’t feel comfortable and to cancel my membership
