I don't recommend it, I suggest you don't become members. You will not be able to unsubscribe.
After 2 years of being a member, I tried to cancel my membership. I followed the instructions they givd me and the following month they charged me the monthly payment again, I complained and they said that they would cancel my membership. Surprise, the next month they charged me the monthly payment again. I have written to them again and no one answers me. If you become a member you will have many problems to unsubscribe.

The gym is underground and it is very hot, despite this they do not put on the AC, and what there is is insufficient. The locker rooms and showers are dirty. You can find a better gym, sure.

Good gym. However the water fountain water is not cold unlike other gyms. Unsure if that is deliberately done so members purchase the extra option for hydration machine. The gym temperature should be slightly cooler- slightly on the warm side.

Great Gym Overall:

Been over a year I trained in Stepney Green. Great Atmosphere. Great & Friendly Staffs. Good equipment. Only drawback is in the evenings it is literally packed and have no room to train - not a huge problem though as I switched my training to mostly mornings...

I've been to so many gyms through the years and it's definitely the place I've felt most comfortable with. Lifting area and open mat area is EXTREMELY busy during the evening peak hours but I'm generally a Morning Gym goer so I rarely see the peak period. Staff are very friendly, gym is clean. Members need to do a better job at replacing equipment in their correct areas

This is a nice enough gym I suppose. I'm new in the area so I'm not used to such a crowded facility, perhaps that's just London living, Londoners it seems aren't in the habit of returning equipment and there's no staff helping tidy up so if you want to swap plates out for a bar you've just secured you're going to be wandering around the facility trying to figure out what you can/cannot swipe from other attendees. Also not sure why the floor is so uneven throughout? Perhaps it was too much work for the labourers and they just figure we'll compromise on our form when we're doing deadlifts - which I don't mind to do of course - but when you're trying to do situps on a bench rocking side to side you do start to wonder. My biggest complaint though is at the lack of disposable wipes, I can't understand why this is something they've cheaped out on, every gym I've attended provides these but I guess The Gym Group must have some contract with Wuhan Virology to ferment only the most sophisticated hybrid virus from everyone's pooling sweat on all the equipment. Definitely do *not* be putting your fingers to your mouth if you come to this gym!

After being a member for about 4 years, I have now left this gym. The gym still has a large selection of equipment which are largely well maintained however over the past few months the gym has seen an influx of young student members who come in groups, mess around and hog machines. I am not sure if the gym have some running promotion which has caused this but something has definitely changed. I am no longer able to enjoy this gym because the gym is very busy all the time, not only peak times as it was over the past years.

I just joined this gym and I’m really impressed by the amount of equipment and machines there are in here. Gym itself it’s really clean, PTs are always tidying up and there are lots of dumbbells. However even if covid is almost gone, I would really appreciate blue roll and sanitizer to clean after sweaty people… also toilets could be checked more often!

if i could give 0 stars i would! DONT BOTHER WITH JOINING THIS GYM! WORST GYM IVE BEEN TO IN LONDON! Theres no ventilation throughout the whole gym, equipment is old and dirty, walls are cracked, no staff, the gym does not encourage or take in negative feedback judging from their copy & pasted responses to these reviews. Don't waste your time or money here, been once and that was enough for me to withdraw my membership! They blame it on funding even though everyone pays almost £30 per month these days, obviously just care about money than fitness and health.
