Good gym. Has most of the equipment you need and a very good size. But sadly it is extremelyyy busy. I have never seen a busier gym in my life. Once I came after work it was very busy again almost no machine was free( none of the ones I wanted - I do weights not cardio) so I decided to do some floor abs exercises until it calms down. After more than half an hour I gave up and went home. Basically if you can go in the morning before work and late in the evening it will be fine. But if you go between 3-8 it's crazy busy. For me it's not doing well with my social anxiety as it feels like I'm in a club hunting for machines all the time ( my worry was not anymore my exercises but if I can do them because of the business and having to ask almost always somebody if they can let me know when they're done with their machine)but I tried to manage for the full year I have used it.

Pretty good gym.💪🏼
As will all, you have quiet times and you have busy times.
It's open 24 hours so choose to suit you.

Check the app and if it's showing around 35 people then it's pretty low. So, a good time to hit it.

Recent updates has seen plenty of new and additional equipment ( and notice they removed some of the more worn/ damaged equipment) which is great.

And remember fellow gym buddies...The Squat Rack IS the King of all exercises 💪🏼🦵🏼 ( Drop the mic) 😎

I stopped coming here about a month or so ago now because honestly I was done wasting my money on a unhygienic, unhelpful gym when I could pay a bit extra and go to a quality gym with better equipment that actually WORKS and staff that actually help.

I was going here for nearly a year here. There was apparently super strict policies put in place for COVID-19 where all members must wipe down their equipment after using, spray bottles and tissue was provided around the gym for easy access, even a voice over occasionally to remind people to clean down their equipment and notices around, stating if you do not clean your equipment you will loose your membership. What a load of rubbish! No one wiped their equipment down, in fact I felt like I was one of the few who actually bothered to do it while everyone would move from equipment to equipment. Even staff when they were doing sessions with members or even just working out on their own wouldn’t clean or wipe up after themselves, yet they were staff? The spray bottles started disappearing slowly and the tissue was never restocked half the time, it was awful lack of just basic hygiene that should have been made a must.

Now I understand equipment breaks down because they are in constant use by a number of people every day. But some of the equipment was out of use for months. Yet the membership fee went up? So I’m paying for what? Half the equipment to be broken or out of use? No thanks

The staff always made me feel super uncomfortable, they weren’t friendly or even just a basic smile. They seemed rude and unhelpful. Even when I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable by a man in the gym the one time I didn’t even raise the issue with staff because they didn’t seem to be the type you could go to. I raised it in a email and never got anything back.

It’s a shame really because there isn’t s lot of gyms over this way, but I’d rather not waste my time or money on a dirty place that is falling to pieces and the staff are too up themselves to even just be polite.

Its a great gym overall. Never usually struggle (for more than five minutes) to get on the equipment I need to do my workout. Open 24 hours. Clean (recently refurbed). However the biggest downfall is the music. Most of the time it seems like a teenage girl has plugged her Spotify into the system and let it play....hard to be banging out PBs with Ariana Grande playing in the background.

It's OK but the membership numbers seem far too high for this size of gym. It's always rammed on weeknights and you can't get on most of the kit you want. Some of the kit is also getting on a bit and could do with an upgrade.

The app is really convenient though, and the water machine is ace.

Not a bad gym for the money. However it does attract groups of young kids who hog machines and spend more time uploading to Snapchat stories than actually training. Then wonder why they are only 7 stone wet, benching 42 kilo. Go to claymore gym if you want a proper, no nonsense gym 💪

Been a member for couple years but not sure about the upgrade seem to have lost all but one body core machines which you need for a balanced workout, be good if you could put them back.

Getting used to new stations installed recently...plus new staff. Will keep eye on monthly fee tho, seems to go up pretty regularly!
