Carpetright

This store is terrible. They won’t answer the phone. They say short staffed. We ordered a carpet paid and still waiting after 7 weeks. They said it would be ready in 2-4 weeks. We went into the store and spoke to the staff on several occasions and are been lied to. Another visit today and still get the same rubbish from them. Head office will be involved tomorrow and if no luck we are entitled to a full refund.

DONT USE THIS STORE.

We had on a previous year bought a carpet but wanted to fit ourselves. after many weeks of waiting we phoned and after numerous calls finally told it was at their Romford store but as we were fitting ourselves to get it delivered we would have to pay a charge for a fitter to deliver it ??? That was then , this time we were looking at having our hallway and bedroom and possibly bathroom , we spoke to a lovely lady in store who arranged for a fitter to come round following week , which he did . On arrival and from the time he finished he wAs constantly taking phone calls whilst measuring , very unprofessional. He said we would be called next day with quotes . Week later as we were paaaing carpet right I said to my husband to pop in and look at some laminate and while we there we could ask about the quote .
The man we spoke to seemed surprised and ask us wen the measuring was done and straight away hot on the phone . He said to
The person on the other end ‘apparently you came round theirs last Thursday ? ‘. Apparently !??? Really ? Wrong choice of word. Then we were told us and three others are missing off his system some how . We were told he would call us next couple days to arrange another measure . Never did , so they are not getting our money , poor poor customer service . I wonder how they are still going !!

Close the shop down : Currently still awaiting a refund via Cheque it's been over a week now slowly touching two. I still need to get carpet for my children's rooms and can't do so with my refund

Was happy with the quality of carpets but it's a shame they were happy to take the money in cash but not so quick to give it back.

Trying to get through on the phone is an absolute joke: you go in store and meet one Caribbean man who sits behind the desk usually on the phone himself.

Customer service is very poor.

my purchases are already wearing through less than 12 months after buying. Looked great in the store, looked great once installed. But didn't take long for the poor quality to show through ! Avoid Avoid Avoid

Poor quality flooring. Having to replace after only two years. I would recommend using local businesses instead.

My first 'poorest' customer service in the whole of 5 years in the UK now.
I guess whoever the owner is - you are wasting your money keeping this store alive!

Absolutely disgusting service from snotty teenager type (even though he was clearly in his twenties), ignored me, wouldn't help, didn't return my call, lied when I asked him why he didn't call me (which meant I had to drive back to the shop). Then accused his colleague, apparently the manager, of not doing a good job. If I hadn't been buying an off cut that was on display in the store i definitely would not have given them my business.
Will not be back. Shocking.

Could not fault them. They seem to get a lot of bad press but our experience was great start to finish. Helped us in store, they came to measure up when they said, sent quote quickly, booked in, turned up on time and fitter did a great job! Carpet has lasted over a year no problems yet.
