My husband spilt paint over the carpets: very old carpets,Tapi's is an independent carpet retailer on Barack Rd, Christchurch. They have a large selection of carpet options. Prices are cheaper than the chain carpet sellers. Customer service is excellent. They came to measure up 2 days after ordering; and the new carpet will be fitted within 10 days. All staff are professional and courteous.

I honestly can't fault them, they were exceptional from start to finish. I went to Tapi after experiencing horrific problems with Carpetright, who has ballsed up my order time and time again and seemed to care so little about taking care of their customers. What a difference at Tapi! They were absolutely wonderful, from the shop staff to the fitters. I would recommend them to anyone.

I would highly recommend Tapi Carpets in Christchurch, they are an excellent company and went above and beyond to bring what was a tired old flat a new lease of life. I would personally like to thank Martin, Danny and Paul for all of your assistance, all of you went above and beyond and are no doubt a major asset to the company. Thank you again

We had a mixed experience with Tapi Carpets due to having different fitters and conflicting info throughout. We didn't have a satisfactory experience with the first fitters who did half the house, and had issues with things like not having card machines (cash only or BACS) even though we were told all fitters will have them, had problems with paying VAT to the fitter (which Tapi Carpets refunded after complaining), late arrival (supposed to be booked in for the whole day, they came in the afternoon) and other problems, so Tapi sent out Paul Green for the second fitting to complete the rest of the house and this guy did such a great job. He went above and beyond and was one of the friendliest guys I've ever met. The experience with him with was completely opposite to the first fitters and so he really saved the Tapi experience. In terms of the carpet quality and installation, everything looks fantastic and we've got the 10 year guarantee which puts us at ease. Originally when looking at carpet companies, we tried Carpet Right next door but their initial welcome service was pretty terrible so we went to Tapi instead and it worked out well in the end. Would have been 5* if we had Paul from the beginning!

Had a great service from start to finish and purchased our carpet on the day.
From the moment we walked in we were greeted and looked after by Paul who couldn't have tried harder and gave us a good consultative presentation and offered us good advice to choose the right product
A massive contrast to Carpet Right next door who showed total apathy to our enquiry.
Keep up the excellent service and would happily recommend this store moving forward.

They did not make the prices clear and we ended up having to pay nearly double the price for what we budgeted for! They charged us extra for the measurements and they were exactly the same as the ones we gave we didn't need any extra flooring but they charge us £71. They didn't tell us we then had to pay the fitter on the day! So after it was fitted I was surprised by the additional £238 the fitter needed before leaving the house. I would not ever use again and not recommend to anyone! They refunded me £50 after complaining and gave me a £50 voucher but that's not quite £238 and not the point. We were not told the pricing correctly the whole way along very poor!
The only reason 2 star is because the fitter was nice in this whole situation and the flooring looks nice. No way worth £909 for the lino floor it finally cost when we were originally quoted £600.
