Lawsons Yard

I'm extremely disappointed to have to write this review.After much internet surfing we settled on Lawsons as the supplier for reclaimed wood floor for our cottage. And then the problems started. Poor and slow contact. Late (by weeks) delivery. And, to top it off, clearly the prep for delivery had been rushed and the floor was shipped with the wax still wet and my fitter had to spend a lot of time re sanding and finishing the wood himself.
I recently wrote to complain and have heard nothing.
Sadly, despite the finished product looking great, I can't recommend Lawsons at all. Find another supplier.

We took a trip over to Lawson’s and met Adam who advised us really well in terms of what were our best options (we went for Baltic Pine). Following that he fielded continual questions on the phone around what type of glue our fitter could use and who to source it from etc.

The boards were made up and delivered within 4 weeks as advised. Paul their own delivery driver I have to say was an absolute star shifting the boards, stacking them in the room and giving some further advice for our joiner.

The end result I have to say looks amazing and is better than we expected.

I searched for a long time to find an engineered floor that had the look and feel of solid wood and finally found these reclaimed beam floorboards at Lawsons. i spoke to Adam on the phone without even ordering a sample as time was short. The flooring arrived on the agreed date, was laid by the builders and has filled me with delight ever since. I gaze at them every day with pleasure. The picture doesn't do them justice but believe me they are stunning.

The after service provided was outstanding. We had been a little out on our calculation of the amount of wood needed and were short by one 2 metre floor board. Adam kindly organised delivery of the much needed board and a half pot of paint so we could get on and complete faster than if we waited for the board to be painted and dry enough for delivery. We cannot thank Adam and Lawsons Yard enough. We absolutely love the floorboards they really are beautiful! Product and service are highly recommended.

Products look good but customer service is poor. We ordered samples but after 2 weeks they still hadn't come. After several emails and calls we had to abandon them and go elsewhere. Never actually saw the product. Got the impression they are seriously understaffed to provide the service they want to.

Lawsons Yard is great company with great people and great products.
I am building restaurants. Despite the loss of his father, Adam supplied all materials on time, responded to all emails and calls.

We are delighted with the “Engine shed” wall panels supplied by Lawsons Yard. The wood is high quality, full of character and was easy to be fitted. It has given us a really unusual and attractive feature wall. Adam Lawson was helpful and professional, providing us with advice on the product choice and was very responsive by phone and email to discuss any questions. Delivery was fast, easily meeting our schedule for the renovation. We chose the lacquered finish which we really liked for the smooth feel and slight sheen, while not impacting the colour and character of the wood. I highly recommend this product and company.

We absolutely love our new floor. Everyone comments on how beautiful it looks ... it really is perfect!

Whenever I phoned Lawson's Yard, they always answered and nothing was too much trouble.

They are very reliable and I am extremely grateful to Adam, who couldn't have been more helpful from start to finish.
