United Carpets And Beds Wolverhampton

We ordered a new bedroom carpet from United Carpets Wolverhampton a couple of weeks ago. We were free to browse without being pushed by salespeople, something that would have seen us leaving the store immediately.
We got a good deal and were given a covenient Saturday fitting time.
Yesterday (2/2/19) our new carpet was fitted by two really nice lads , very neatly and quickly with minimum fuss.
This is the second time we've used United Carpets and won't be the last!

Very helpful. Very efficient. Good choice of carpets to suit all budgets. Got my stairs and bedroom sorted out in time for xmas. They did me a very good deal. Would use again and would recommend.

After having to wait over 12 months since moving house to get carpet down in our living room, hall, stairs, landing and bedrooms where it was just floor boards the carpet we had is really awesome and nice under foot, we went for a mixture of two hard wearing types with a door mat area by our front door.

Craig was spot on with everything from start to finish and I have to say went the extra mile to help as we have a child who we need to isolate during COVID - 19 we felt confident that we weren't put at any extra risk so to everyone thank you from us :)

No problem with the shop or the lads that sorted our order.No problem with the carpet and vinyl we had it's nice.The problem I have is with the carpet fitter that did the job.Proper bodge job on the last step at the top of the stairs.Evey single door bar he scratched up while fitting them.I could forgive one or two but every single one is a joke.Carpet comes up when I hoover the corners which shouldn't happen.There is also a line in the carpet that is still visible after 3 months so god knows what happened there.

I would give -1 stars if they had the option! Appalling service.

Paid £1690 in total for a carpet.

We had 2 visits on site where carpet was going to be fitted by United carpets to dicuss prep work.
It was agreed that the fitter Craig was supposed to chalk out the area that we agreed to pull up. He never turned up to chalk the area. So therefore, we were unable to prep anything as we didnt know how much carpet needed to come up.

This prep area was supposed to be done prior to the carpet being fitted.

I was told a week before carpet would arrive on the Tuesday to be fitted that same week before the weekend. When carpet was delivered to the shop on Tuesday, they called me and told me that there was no fitter available till week later. I told them to refund my money if they couldn't fit and surprise surprise they found a fitter that could fit on the following day.

Fitter turns up, looks at the job and said I cannot do this alone. I told him that I did tell United carpets to tell you how big of a job. He said they didn't say it was this big.

We did all the prep work whilst he stayed out of the way. Job took 6 hours in total that's because there was 5 of us to help.

Stay well away from this company. I've had many carpets and flooring done and never have I experienced this kind of customer service. Very very disappointed to say the least!

This outlet is probably not situated in the best location , a little hard to find and a little bit hard to get to but once there you recieve a warm welcome and the pleasant & polite staff will endeavour to help you in any way they can.
I have ordered flooring from them and am awaiting fitting. If that part of the service is as good as the showroom then I will increase my star rating immediately.

Went in to look for carpets for several rooms but sorry to say disappointed from the start.
The place was filthy and looked like it hadn't bee cleaned or vacuumed in months. Not only that but the carpet barrow was on end at the end of a rack making it difficult to get round and the cutting bar on the floor in the middle of the Isle. That was an accident waiting to happen. The only saving grace was the young salesman who was polite.
Poor effort.

Would not recommend. Ordered a bed with delivery and installation as my left shoulder was recently dislocated so I can't do much work with it.
Bed was delivered, but faulty bed and installation. There's one screw missing and one entire support bar with screws missing as well.
So disappointed, have emailed customer service. It's just annoying that if you've paid someone to deliver and install you'd think they'd notice these faults and flag it.
