Excellent company to deal with.
I had a small problem with my order at the ayr branch ( not tapis fault). Kevin quickly and efficiently sorted it to our satifaction. This is the way all companies should deal with customer problems. Many thanks Tapi will definitely buy from you again.

Very good service from Tapi when selecting new carpet for a bedroom. Good knowledge of products and additional requirements - underlay etc, excellent promo at the time of purchase when buying underlay with the carpet. No issues getting a fitter booked to suit when we were available. Fitter gave us a phone ahead of them arriving and the fitting was done promptly and all materials removed and carpet given a vacuum over before leaving. Only disappointment from Tapi was the ott pricing for gripper bars which resulted in us buying them elsewhere for a third of the cost

Ordered lino online as did not want to go into store. Used the app to see what it would look like in the room. Looks exactly the same. App is excellent. Lino arrived within a week to store, fitter arrived on set date and right time. Fitted it quickly and perfectly, took all cut offs and rubbish away with him. Great service. Would highly recommend.

We did not get our carpet fitted on the date agreed dispite receiving an email the night before saying Yippee it's your big day tomorrow. Spent the day phoning Tapi to find out what was going on to be fobbed off three times by two different people. Finally agreed a fitting date two days later and the manager said there would be a £50 good will deduction from the fitting fee. Carpet fitted but there was no deduction. Can't honestly recommend Tapi if you pay up front you do not have any bargaining power.

Not having the best experience with Tapi. Paid up and was promised laminate flooring for our ground floor to be fitted by today but so far it hasn't.
Not impressed, especially with Tapi carpets not having a plan for when it would be done after we reported that work had not started two days ago.

Until recently I would have waxed lyrical about Tapi and its customer service; however I had the sad opportunity to discover their customer care approach quite awful when I phoned through my disappointment when my kitchen fitter pointed out the fitter from Tapi had not fitted my new vinyl under the kick plates and only cut round the units. I had hardly managed to say two sentences when the woman I was talking to continuously interrupted me, rudely spoke over me all the time and accused me of shouting at her before quickly retracting this to ‘raising my voice’ this was just before she actually put down the phone and walked away, a man then came on the phone and said “can I help you”? – No introduction with his name or position in the company, he too then proceeded to talk over me and was also very defensive & abrupt. The end result seems that if you want your fitter from Tapi to lay your flooring under the kick plates then you have to have them removed prior to his visit, this is something I would have happily done if I had been informed in advance.
I was very disappointed with the way my call was handled by both those staff members and gauged from this experience that all’s well with dealings with Tapi Ayr as long as you don’t have a concern or complaint, which then results (in my experience) in a very poor customer service, defensive abrupt staff and a thoroughly unpleasant and unnecessary encounter.
At the outset, our initial dealings were with Jim from this same store who couldn’t have been more helpful and patient. I don’t know if he is the manager but if not – he should be!
I have a full house which needs flooring to a value of £4,000 + but after the way I was spoken to I will not be doing business with or have dealings with those two staff members of Tapi AYR branch any further.
