was suppose to get a call on Monday a week after ordering a carpet it never came phoned all day on Thursday from 10 till 4 left messages to call me back that never happened got through at 4.30 pm as it turn out only one person working in the whole store that day no apologies for not returning the calls they said my order was in & was ok to collect on Friday after dinner however when I got there with a work van to collect the shop was closed at the note on the door said only one member of staff was working (like yesterday) & he had to go out to do deliveries & would be back at 1.30! there was other people waiting to collect their items they were is the same boat as me they also were not happy i was just about to go home he arrived back 15 mins after his 1.30pm note! one couple had waited 5 weeks for an order & 2 hrs outside the store for pick up!! DO NOT USE CARPET RIGHT BANGOR for a carpet your will regret it the service is SHAMBOLIC to say the least!!!

The staff in store were actually pretty great.
I was happy with the order and the helpfulness and friendliness of almost everyone.

I ordered 1 carpet initially, but the roll didn't quite cover the room size, so I then had to go in and re order another (more expensive) carpet.

The real problems started almost 4 weeks in, when I still hadn't received my carpet, or heard anything about it.

I contacted them, and the found out there had been a problem with the order 🤔

Eventually, 6 weeks in, my carpet arrives in store (yey)

The *one* carpet fitter they have is on holiday for a week 😳

You really can't make it up.

So. They arrive the next week, ready to fit the carpet.
They can't fit it because we've had carpet moths in the past.. (This had all been discussed in detail when I initially ordered).

So I then had to pull out all the old carpet and the underlay.
Treat the room.
Then spend a further £120 on new underlay - although they did give me a discount..

So. Now I'm still waiting, hopefully today, to get my carpet put in

Fantastic and friendly service. Dion went above and beyond all expectations. His professionalism and attention to detail was very much appreciated for the choosing, order and purchase process. Looking forward now to the next stage of fitting when the floors are ready.

Staff were very welcoming on entrance as well as providing me with very useful advice on what carpet would best cater to my house.

“We don’t do complaints or compensation”

We were told by store the carpet fitters could move up to 5 pieces of furniture. We only left our beds in the rooms, fully made and wrapped to protect the bedding.
The fitters did not contact us to discuss, they simply decided to dismantle our beds, helping themselves to our tools and dumped the bedding in a pile on the floor among the rubbish.
During a pandemic, why were they handling our bedding and beds?!

The fitters also left 3x black bags worth or small off cuts and rubbish from the fitting, in another pile for us to clear up. Again no mention we would have to clear their rubbish.

We were told fitting early morning appointment and they arrived well at 1pm so we wasted time waiting on them.

And finally the outrageous words from the store when we called to report all these problems “we don’t do complaints or compensation”.

We were actually reporting the fitters expecting the store to be shocked, an apologise, instead got a very rude person who had already been paid for the product and job.

Great choice of carpets and a friendly service. The carpet was delivered and fitted within the given delivery time. The guys were really friendly and did a good job. And everything happened in Cymraeg! That's a big plus.

Many Thanks to Tom, Malcolm and Rebecca for your all you excellent help. Nothing was too much trouble and Malcolms estimating skills saved our good friend from wasting over half of what he was buying.what he saved carpeted another small bedroom.

2 lots of money taken due to system error , still attempting to get it refunded 2 months later .
If they are not sure if you're card has been read don't whatever you do try twice, because its head office not the store that does the refund, and getting it back is virtually impossible. DISGUSTED, I do not recommend.

Following the review and a threat of legal action situation speedily resolved.
