Valley Carpets

I can't thank Valley carpets enough. From the moment we walked through the door they couldn't have been more helpful offering us lots of choices of carpets for our bedroom. We chose one whilst there and Aron booked us in for fitting at the next available slot. Aron was so professional, friendly and helpful. The next week they came and fitted our beautiful carpet. We are so pleased it is fitted perfectly and completes our new bedroom. Thank you so much we will definitely be getting all our future floors from valley carpets

Ordered a carpet, the shop booked it for fitting for the wrong week, so we had the house upside for a week. On the delivery day the fitter arrived 3 hours late with no tools and no van, my Wife and I welcomed him in and offered him a drink, but from the start he appeared very annoyed, he continually complained that he couldn't do the job that day because of several non-issues which we said we would sort out straight away (TV was still in the room, there was some grout left on the tiles and there was one gripper which needed reattaching, Carpet would have to be lifted over the Hot Tub) when I suggested instead of gluing the gripper down we hammer/screw it to save setting time, he became very aggressive and stormed out of the house saying he's not putting up with this and that this work wasn't even booked in for him. I phoned the shop who after phoning the fitter said (edit to provide full balanced picture) the fitting was sub contracted out and nothing to do with them and that it was up to me to sort out with the fitter directly (they did however contact the fitter later and try to arrange for him to come back) . The carpet was still left on the drive, once the fitter left, but thankfully the delivery man came back to help me in with the carpet, the delivery man said a refund wasn't possible as fitting was nothing to do with them. We have now booked fitting with someone else. I would avoid using this company, certainly don't use the fitting service as the fitter has really upset my Wife and I. I later received call back from Shop to say this review was totally untrue before they hung up, but it really isn't, I think the fitter may have had too many jobs on that day is my guess and was looking for a reason to reschedule, but taking it out on my Wife and I was unacceptable and there was no certainly no abuse involved. The response to this google review should give you all you need to know about how you will be treated.

Valley Carpets Newport was recommended to me and I don’t normally leave reviews but they were great. We wanted Herringboe and there was lots to choose from and reasonable price too.The finish was 10/10 and I’m genuinely so happy with it! Definitely will be coming back for the rest of the house. Thank you!

We had laminate and carpet from Valley Carpets throughout our whole house and I am so happy with how it all looks. We were very well looked after and communication was great through the whole process. All of the guys were extremely helpful and professional. Due to problems with our kitchen fitters we had to delay the flooring 3 times but Valley Carpets were more than accommodating for this. We are over the moon with our flooring and the service that was provided, I highly recommend!

Went in to the shop on a whim just to look about , ended up buying a fantastic laminate floor for our house …plus carpet …

Just had some carpets fitted in our Children's room, very friendly throughout the whole experience from purchasing to fitting. Much cheaper than other local quotes we’d received also.

Went in to Newport store for carpet for one of my family members living in Newport and what can I say, Aron was really helpful from asking how I was to what we wanted done, He explained all different types of carpet to suit our needs, John come out to give us an estimate and within a week we was fitted in around our busy working life. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Valley Carpets Newport and any other stores the guys have..Thank you very much all my anti is very happy with her fit.

If you're looking for flooring I would really reccomnded this place! Brilliant customer service and fast fitting. There's was lots to choose from. Happy happy customer!
