Carpetright

The sales staff here are pretty friendly and decent but its obviously it is all to a script and formula. Numerous price promises, and offers but they are never genuine offers, the price promises have caveats for them to get out of honouring them.

Once you have received your purchase, you are left high and dry at the mercy of the after sales support which consists mostly of passing the buck and avoiding taking responsibility for problems.

On top of this the fitters used are very poor and are not concerned with doing a satisfactory job.

Paid almost £3000 for carpets to purchased and fitter left remnants all over the floor and took the doors off because they need triming but didn't tell anyone til today (sat) when we enquired why the doors were off. He did the carpet (Wed) but said nothing only when it concern extra cash for him. I'm supposed to move in (mon). Carpet right attitude is oh well. Terrible service.

Awful service !!
Booked for someone to come and measure rooms , never turned up .
Called the store who said they would call me the following day to book another appointment, they didn’t bother!!
No probs carpet right I will take my business elsewhere!!

Purchased some carpet a while back, was a little unsure of what I wanted. I can only think Nick who so kindly helped me in making my choice. He was so patient and treated us with such kindness.

A company that believes the customer should be grateful that they exist. They only get one star coz zero isn't an option. Policy is, they screw up, no compensation.
They ordered the wrong size, identified by the fitters on the day. Eventually got a sales rep who was not allowed to help but would get a manager to call me back. Failed to call back. Only got to speak to him via the carpet fitter. He stated that it is impossible to get a replacement in before their next scheduled delivery despite a number of well known couriers that could do this but they refuse to use. Point blank refusal to offer any kind of compensation as this is against company policy (quote from store manager at the Carmarthen branch). Obviously this is a company who considers customers to be great as long as they are prepared to be compliant. They screw up, pfft who cares, there are plenty of others that will use us, we are famous, big and better. Yeah right. I recommend because of their attitude that you boycott carpetright.

Excellent service, massive choice and price range, can't fail to find a carpet here!!
