Carpetright

Bought vinyl planks from here. Arrived on time and quality very good. Last plank in box was chipped so unusable. Phoned and spoke to Margaret(I think), the store manager. Had a spare in store so was given free of charge. Can't fault that. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Can't recommend highly enough. Thanks for great service and well done. Will be going there for my next project,unlike B&Q....but that's ongoing regarding my kitchen refit...will post soon.

Don't! Please DO NOT buy anything from here.
The company is a total bag of spanners, and most of the staff couldn't give a monkeys.
I'll give you a quick brief of my experience.
Only two days after the floor and vinyl was laid it started to crumble and lift. According to Carpet right, that's not serious. (See pics). New vinyl needed. Now the trouble starts. Despite you waiting in numerous times for a fitter, nobody turn will turn up. Nobody will ring to tell you why, you will have to ring them. Excuses from "it wasn't delivered" to "Oh, yeah it's been lost" and even "wrong size sent". Believe me NOBODY will care! You will ring customer services to complain, and they'll tell you "Well you'll just have to wait, won't you". After this the manager will promise it will be done this week. Nope, that's a lie! Wrong size, delivered. So still no kitchen floor. This has taken over a month since the first vinyl was laid, and it's still hasn't been rectified. Disgusting customer service.
Only two people come out of this with any positives. Adam the fitter, superb guy, couldn't have done any more than he did, and Mohammed in Carpet right itself. The only person in the company who actually tried to do something. As for Carpet right as a company, never, NEVER again.

EDIT. After emailing customer services twice, as asked to by Dilan, guess what's happened?
Nothing, nada, zero.
Didn't even acknowledge they'd received it, even though my email tracks them and it had been read 10 times. THAT'S how Carpet right treats its customers.

Absolutely ludicrous. Where independent shops quotes circa £1000 these guys came in £1800.

Fantastic customer service from Kelly. Very attentive and was able to sort out quick ordering and fitting. Would recommend.

Ordered two different styles of carpet from here. Mohammed the sales gentleman offered great customer service skills, nothing was too much trouble. I think I ended up calling him asking question after question and he was happy to answer them all and take my calls, called me back when I left messages for him. Very helpful and
knowleagble, not pushy at all. Overall Mohammed made my experience at the store very good. Would highly recommend this gentleman. Only reason I haven't given a 5 star is because I haven'thad the carpet fitted yet so lets see how that goes.

Great selection and friendly staff lots of roll ends at the back. The only thing I will say is the skip area to which we parked quite close was an absolute eyesore with the waste from fitting carpets strewn everywhere, not a great advert for what's on the inside.
