Wild At Heart

The Rose Basket is one of the most simplistic, yet exquisite creations I've come across. It is beautifully arranged and lasted quite a long time. All of their compositions from the bouquets to the jugs are more than charming. They're a great way of showing someone you care about them or of congratulating them on a special occasion. Beautiful as the flowers are, prices are quite high, though, hence the four stars.

For Mothering Sunday, a stunning bouquet of roses, lilac, ranunculus etc. arrived.... today, seven days later, the flowers, (full disclosure: minus the lilac, which droops quickly even if picked from the garden) still look fabulous. I've had flowers from other high end florists in the past, and they have drooped by day three or four, and in one case,they were replaced because I complained. These are in a different league.

I went there because I wanted a very special bunch of flowers. I was prepared to pay their outrageous price (£6 per stem of any flower!!) and was quite disappointed to find that they did not have a great variety of flowers, and some of them had seen better days. I chose peonies in two different colours. The assistant picked a stem and accidentally tapped lightly a second one; the petals just fell off, even if the flowers weren't totally open. I really expected a better quality of flowers. In the end, instead of spending £48 in a bunch that would not have survived the journey home, I went to a well known supermarket and bought a beautiful and very firm bunch for £16.

Great taste in flowers and great service.

A bit on the pricy side.

The worst flowers I ever received.
My boyfriend went there himself picked some flowers for my birthday. Ask them to write a especial message, which he told the girl what to write. And guess what?. This is the ridiculous card I received. Absolutely disgraceful for a flower shop that is supposed to be for especial occasion. Shame I can’t give zero star. Would not recommend to no one.

I experienced a racist encounter with a middle aged florist who worked on October 6 close to closing time. She promised to assist me after she’s done with one white women, but once she was done with her she moved on to TWO separate white women who came into the shop after me. One of these women even pointed out to the florist that I was here before her and the florist chose to ignore the comment and went on to help her. After waiting 20min for her to finally assist me, she comes and tells me she’s no longer doing bouquets because they’re closing soon.
Perhaps the most fair decision is to let a customer know that they longer provide that service before making them wait 20min just to let them know and answer their questions.
Very very poor customer service, given my ethnicity I didn’t feel welcomed at all. It felt as though she favours white customers over any other non-white customer
