Borrowed Light Floral Studio

We got our Nordmann fir Xmas tree from Borrowed Light Florals this year and it's a great tree! It is the best-priced that I've seen in this area, and it's lasted well (up for a week so far) so must have been fresh. I really liked the way that Sarah took the time to tell me how to get a longer life out of our tree - the first time anyone's bothered to share that with us. A beautiful little shop at Crate with lots of treasures from local makers too - a good place to go find last-minute gifts for any occasion. Highly recommended :-)

Very happy with Borrowed Light Floral Studio! We recently potted our first terrariums via zoom in the comfort of our own living room.

Sarah was very accommodating when reorganising a date and time for us to do the workshop (originally booked before Covid-19). She put in a lot of personal time and effort to allow us to do this.

Claudia then contacted us on zoom and led us through the process. She was very polite and still managed to make it fun.

I believe we were one of the first they had managed to create these terrariums with remotely, and it worked!

Sarah @Borrowed Light put together a really beautiful bunch of flowers to help welcome home my wife and new baby, delivered to our door. Nearly three weeks later and they're still looking great (see pic)!

Gorgeous little shop and always welcoming. I took part in two of their workshops and brought friends along. What brilliant experiences both were. Sarah and Claudia are super knowledgeable, the materials provided of great quality, and we had a really relaxed and fun evening, learning some good craft skills at same time. And both the terrarium and the autumn wreath I made are still going strong and on proud display in my house.

We recently got married and Claudia took very good care of us; we met with her at the studio and explained our favourite styles and colours. No job was too small and I know she had a last minute nightmare getting our preferred flower but she went out of her way to source it. All of our guests were very impressed and if I'm honest I don't think our wedding would have been the same without the amazing flowers Borrowed Light provided, designed and installed. Sarah, Claudia and their wider team are an absolute pleasure to work with. They’re super knowledgeable and talented and create the most gorgeous work. I’ve received fresh bouquets, dried bouquets and plants from them and the quality and presentation is always 10/10. I love that they are eco minded too and refrain from using foam and dyes in their work as well as sourcing seasonal and locally grown flowers 🌸

Once again Sarah and Claudia have come to my rescue and making my daughters 30th birthday so special!!

It was midnight here in Australia and the girls helped coordinate a stunning bouquet of flowers for my daughters 30th at the last minute. Sarah went over and above to make sure my daughter received her beautiful arrangement, even though they had major events on that day.

My first contact with the girls was durning CoVid lockdown they made me a lovely terrarium for a house warming gift they hand delivered to my daughters home, the communication was outstanding with the 8 hour time difference and being countries apart.

We live round the corner from Borrowed Light and always buy their plants, and so they were the natural first choice for our wedding flowers. I can't describe how beautiful the arrangements were by Sarah - we had a pretty vague and changing brief, and Sarah really brought our vision to life while also overlaying her own creative flair. The ceremony flowers and our bouquets were AMAZING. We also wanted to reduce the environmental impact of our wedding so Sarah helped us do so by suggesting plants to rent, creating bouquets that could go into vases as centre pieces, and ensuring that the single stem flowers that be reused and could go onto the tables, even lending us 20 stem vases so we wouldn't have to buy any to use only once. Sarah also sourced us two olive trees last minute. Highly recommend Borrowed Light for your wedding flowers!
