Elworthy Flowers

Catherine arranged the flowers for our wedding last October, they were so beautiful and we were so pleased with them. We do not live locally to the area, and from the start Catherine was very accommodating, finding time to see us at quite short notice and it was a real help to be able to share ideas over email with her, due to our distance. We felt that Catherine took the time to understand and check what we liked and wanted, so we were really happy already, but the flowers on the day really exceeded our expectations, they were absolutely stunning. She was also very knowledgeable and clear from the start about exactly what flowers would be available at the time of year. We would recommend Elworthy Flowers to anyone.

From the moment I invited Catherine to come over and talk about arranging flowers to my wedding I knew I was going to absolutely love her creations. She listened to my own ideas and then went away to create the most beautiful bouquets, displays, flower crowns and buttonholes for me and my wedding party. I even went and selected the flowers I wanted from the local flower farm (in fact all of my flowers were sourced locally).

It was an absolute delight working with Catherine and I could not have been happier with her creations. Highly recommend.

I have used Elworthy flowers for many years now and have always been delighted with the results. To creating to most beautiful masterpiece for my grandads funeral, to the wonderful flowers for my sisters wedding to the yearly Christmas wreath which it just wouldn’t feel like Christmas without!!

Every year I also ask catherine to create a wreath/bouquet for my brothers grave to honour the anniversary.

What I have always loved is that I never have an idea what would be good or work well so I just hand over to Catherine and let her creativity take over.

Catherine done our wedding flowers back in 2011. We met with her frequently and discussed choices and colours etc. What we received on my wedding day was just gorgeous. The most colourful flowers I could have imagined. I couldn’t have asked for a better selection. Would highly recommend.

Catherine was brilliant from start to finish. Particularly during these times (covid era), she was a saving grace. We weren't having the wedding we had planned but she made everything so easy and really listened to what I wanted from the colours and the arrangements.

She made up some boxes we had from a late grandparent as well (pictured) which sat at the church and at the hotel where we had dinner. She also did some bunches of dried flower arrangements for the church pews, no picture below but they were great and will last in our house for ages!

Catherine did a funeral arrangement for me - I wanted something natural and not too formal and what she came up with was lovely and perfectly fit the brief.

All of her bouquets use seasonal flowers and always look stunning. I can also thoroughly recommend the christmas wreath workshops - always fun with great guidance and a fantastic range of foliage and accessories.

Catherine made the bride’s and bridesmaids’ bouquets and the flower girls’ floral headbands for our daughter Hannah’s wedding in June and we were all bowled over by how very beautiful they were. We can’t thank you enough, Catherine, and also for your patient guidance on flower choice for the rustic theme and for your help in directing us to the perfect locally grown flowers for the rural reception venue. The colours sang - and everyone commented on how very beautiful and just right the flowers were. Thank you!
