Mad Lilies a Botanical Emporium for Flower Lovers

I cannot recommend Mad Lilies enough, our experience from start to finish was a total dream! From our very first phone call we could tell that we were in great hands, Ali's energy and passion for what she does comes across instantly and she made us feel so at ease. The communication from then onwards until our wedding day was seamless, the team were so helpful and always happy to answer any questions we had. Seeing our vision come together on the day absolutely blew us away, we could just tell how much thought and care went into making sure everything was not only beautiful but personal to us. I’m so upset to be leaving this review. My expectations of Mad Lilies was so high and if I’m honest, this review isn’t so much to say don’t use them. I will echo what I have said to them directly via email, and that is they do lovely flowers. My advice I guess Is if you are ordering bridal flowers ONLY for a wedding, insist on a face to face or over the phone consultation, and even a run through just before the wedding. All my contact was done via email and whilst I believe my brief was crystal clear something went horribly wrong. Whilst the bridal flowers that were delivered were nice, they were nothing like what I had asked for and what was attached to my invoice by Mad Lilies. They have now refunded me £100 ( so not all my money back, I paid just under £500) but unfortunately I cannot re do my wedding. Im awaiting my professional photos and whilst I should be excited to see them I’m dreading seeing photos of this bouquet I didn’t want. It’s such a shame because I see ( even after my wedding) Mad Lilies posting bouquets for other wedding which are closer to what I wanted than what I got and it’s quite upsetting. Whilst I have explained this to Mad Lilies , whilst writing all my supplier review this evening I thought it was only right I was honest in my review here. I wasn’t and I’m still not happy with what Mad Lilies provided me for me wedding so PLEASE make sure you set up meetings. If I had of this would not of happened.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review for my gorgeous wedding flowers I received from Mad Lilies for my wedding last year. Ali at Mad Lilies was the reason my wedding looked as incredible as it did. I trusted them wholeheartedly to do whatever they wanted, following a vague colour scheme of Autumn. I'm a pretty laid back person but when it came to planning my wedding, I knew that I would be precious about the flowers. Mad Lilies absolutely nailed them.

From my very first enquiry, the team have been amazing! Responsive to emails, always at the end of the phone and fully open to ideas and making everything work. We had a plan and then we had to postpone the day which meant completely new flowers because of the season. Michael and I went to meet Alison to talk things through and we left the meeting on such a high. Alison totally got us, what we wanted and was so enthusiastic, she made us forget about all things Covid and made us excited about our wedding again. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone, even a courtesy call on the week of the wedding just to check we were happy with everything.

The flowers on the day were stunning. Whimsical, naturally beautiful and I was just blown away with our suspended arch which made the room! The bouquets were even better than I could have imagined and Alison even imparted some crucial bouquet holding advice that I will definitely share with all future brides!

Best of all, Mad Lilies is our local florist and I will be recommending them to everyone! Thank you so much to you all <3

We were so so pleased with our wedding flowers that the team put together for us for our wedding in September - they looking absolutely stunning and the whole process was a delight - from design discussions with Alison; to administration with Kerry; and Cat and Karen, who were part of the team on the day who came to visit us to deliver the bridal bouquets and calm pre-wedding nerves! Thank you for sticking with us through two covid related postponements - you are true professionals!

Alison was wonderful to work with - giving fantastic design ideas and advice from her experience within the industry. She listened to our colourful vision for the day and gave beautiful suggestions for flower ideas and how best to use the flowers in our venue. We ended up with truly stunning and unique bouquets, button holes, corsages, table arrangements and foliage with the absolutely stunning centre-piece of a huge fireplace arrangement with all of our favourite flowers that we had discussed beforehand - with the biggest Dahlias I had ever seen! The team were sure to use our key colours and arranged our favourite candles to compliment the flowers. The smell of the flowers and foliage was fantastic!

I would encourage anyone to work with Mad Lilies and to visit their stunning flower and homeware store in Banstead - this business is a local gem!
