I had a warm welcome and pleasant lady took my application for renewal of passport. I am very pleased with the service received from her. Absolutely useless. Staff have the phone on mute and don’t answer it - I tested this by calling whilst in the office, hence why they never answer. Staff cancelled my appointment even though I had taken a day off for it - I was flexible and accepted a change for 3 days later. I came and was missing one document and they told me that they now don’t have an appointment for over 2 months - you’d think they would be flexible after they cancelled on them. Bear in mine this is my third attempt for an appointment here - you would think that they would have checked the documents I had the first time I came in order to save me coming back and wasting my time again…pure incompetence..
I don’t believe them at all as they are far from busy when I come into the office.
Something suspicious with the people managing this office - very disappointed to receive such useless service from an embassy. Good luck with your application for a Mauritian passport - I’m going to do it in Mauritius!

You’re more likely to win the lottery than get through to them to book an appointment. I’ve spent around an hour on hold on 4 separate occasions. I wish I was joking or exaggerating… I’m not! I don’t even bother calling anymore just go there and wait for someone to open the door for you.

Very disappointed, they don’t answer the phone after one and half hours on hold! I’ve been waiting for my passport for four months! Absolutely disgusting service!

Hello all. It is a shame because I went to do both of my daughters passport and they were really good. And they took time with my little one as she kept messaging her signature. Even when I booked the appointment they told me each and everything that I was needed. Even on my first visit years ago. They were very good. Its a shame that lots of you have had a bad experience 😔

Called today for informations to change my name on my passport as I got married and I waited 1hour and 31 minutes on the phone... this is a joke !!!! No one answered!!! I will be interested to know if they are willing to pay for our fares to go back home and do the job that they are supposed to do here for us Mauritius citizens in London!!!!

I have posted my passport for a renewal since May and It has been over 4 months and still haven’t receive it, It is so unfair that I have to wait for so long for my new passport when I need it to travel back home as a family was extremely ill now cause of the delays the person has passed away and can’t even attend the funeral that’s so disgusting from them. They should have put on the application form that it will take over 4 months just to get the passport back.

Came for new passport for my child. Did not know i needed an appointment as no indication on website. However we met an employee Shivani and she was very kind and helpful. We managed to apply for the passport. A big thank you to her.
