Arrived 30 minutes before my appointment and did not have to wait much before entering. Although there was a queue outside, the doorman called people according to their booking time, so a lot of people remained outside as they had bookings hours later. I had 2 services booked at the 2nd floor, Notorial department and Fatima was super helpful and friendly. I left the consulate after 1 hour with my two documents. Thanks consulate for the smooth and easy process 👍

Fast replies by email, easy to gather all required docs online and book appointment upon validation. Passports ready within 30mins if physically present, or sent back to you within a week. Very pleasant and polite staff.

Reached ahead of time. The consulate was happy to accommodate. Took barely 5 minutes in the entire process. Extremely polite person at the counter and really helpful. Passport and visa will be shipped back the next day.

UPDATED: Just left the building and I’m very pleased with the service I received from Mauricio. Patient, friendly, kind and went the extra mile to make sure I had all the information I needed to continue with other consular services. Plus, I didn’t even have to wait, in spite of the room being full of costumers. Brilliant, in my experience.

Passport arrived in 4 days after documents were mailed on a Monday.

I applied for a digital nomad visa. Once you’ve figured out how to the application (online application, then another online application for the appointment) the process is smooth and quick - 14 days in my case. The consulate is very well run and the staff are a joy. Obrigada!

Very bad service, the website asked for a lot of unnecessary documents, it’s too difficult to use. I imagine how a elderly could use it themselves. They should make our life easier, but they’re doing the best to make it worse.

The staff should be helpful, she was complaining to add 12 words on my document and had to ask manager for it. When I asked questions she showed faces like OMG, seriously?

I’m not asking for a favor, every single thing is paid.
