Awesome site to wander around. Would love to visit inside and see what it is like. Great views from up here and nice place to have a walk too. Recommend

A hidden gem and very intriguing! You need to go through the metal door to get into the main site. If you turn right at the end of the tunnel along the building which will be on your left you'll come to a route on your right, take this and then follow the path down and back up a narrow part pass the swing gate you will come across the bench and a stunning view towards Dover Castle and the port too. The tunnel has a low ceiling so be warned.

Amazing place for a walk. It's like a maze (but don't worry, with excellent maps with directions). You can get a fantastic view of entire Dover from here.
A place of historical interest, used to house soldiers in the past.
A great place for a walk and to bring your dog.
Please don't try going in the dark.

I walked up here from the station and without a map found it difficult to navigate my way through a maze of paths. I eventually found how to enter the Drop Redoubt and was rewarded handsomely. There are great views of the town, castle and harbour. I'd like to return and explore further.

Lovely views across the channel. Lovely little holiday apartment to rent up there too which gives your beautiful views of Dover Castle

Amazing bit of history. There's the maintained fortress with occasional open days and also the overgrown detached bastion, which is very fun if you're up for some climbing and tight squeezes.
