I love St.Johns Lodge gardens especially early in the morning at around 6.30 am in the Summer.
These gardens were once part of St. Johns Lodge which I have worked in. St. Johns Lodge garden was opened created in the late 19th Century.
This statue and water feature was designed by Henry Pengram, with the Goatherd's daughter designed by Charles Leonard Harwell.
This is a very beautiful place to be and as I documented Queen Mary's Rose Garden last year on one of my Google Plus accounts "AngellSoho" last year directed many people over to these gardens.
Fortunately this year I have finally got them marked up on Google Maps so I very much hope you will visit and enjoy the tranquillity and peace over there.

Former private garden entered via an arbor is an absolute delight. Designed as small, separate 'seclusions' featuring espaliered 'Belgium fence' surrounds and three noteworthy statues.
Stately and sedate. Exquisite here.

Part of the St John's Lodge Garden. A lovely statue in a great park. The garden is well worth taking the time to discover as it is one of those rare inner London oases.

I'd post a picture but I took one of the shepherdess instead so can't claim my picture points for this posting.
