Hurtwood Car Park 3 (Pitch Hill)

Large open car park. Beautiful walks from here over the Surrey hills with panoramic views towards the Weald. Beware of big potholes near the entrance. Road from Ewhurst is a good width for those with wider cars.

Perfect spot to start and end a hike or bike around the Surrey Hills. It's only a small car park but if you're there early you can normally park in any of the Surrey Hills car parks without an issue. Just check if there is a running race on beforehand or if the weather is particularly nice then you may have issues!

Free car park , no bins and lots of rubbish everywhere.
Good location , lots of hiking trails around.

Large car park for the area and usually has space. No public toilets unfortunately.

Actually this is a great spot for all the family, my sister and I went because its been a very long time since we were last there, we were 10 when last there,running up and down the hills, great fun, there are cyclists that ride there now too. Just reminisced the good old days.

Nice large car park with plenty of parking. Downside is that there isn't a bin for poo bags.

The is well worth the 10 min hike up the hill from the car park. But beware of cyclist paths in the woods

Pitch hill is fab. Lots of mountain bikers but great for walking as well
