Car Park (Chipperfield Common)

The Common carpark is the largest in Chipperfield, but far from the best. It's long and thin, bordering the length of one side of the Common. It has an entrance at each end. The farthest end from The Two Brewers Hotel pub is the best, being passably tarmaced, but then deteriorates into a rutted dusty or muddy track towards the pub end. The carpark is most convenient for the Common, the woods and the cricket club.

Large free car park with plenty of parking spaces and easy access to the woods and common. Because of this it can get busy and manoeuvring around can get a bit tricky. There are other car parks nearby however. There are plenty of footpaths and easy access to beautiful countryside. Main footpaths through the woods are good, but others and those in the countryside are very muddy at the moment (December) so suitable footwear is a must.

Too many potholes, and not enough room to negotiate leaving the carpark.

Lovely spot to watch the cricket in the summer

Nice place to have a little walk from

Not much to say as just a bit of ruff ground but can get busy in good weather

Plenty of room but please try to leave space near to the entrance/exit which can be a bit restricted
