La Parisienne

Superb little gem of a place! Incredible food. Friendly service. Highly recommend but you do need to book first because it's soooo good!

A lovely little restaurant/ cafe open only 9am - 5pm. We started with garlic flatbread which was huge and really fresh & tasty. Sadly the mussels were not available but the fishcake more than made up for them, full of fish very large and freshly cooked.
My friend said her calamari was the nicest she'd had, light batter and plenty of it. Sadly we had no room for a sweet...Next time.

Felt ignored and I haven't enjoyed the coffee. Unfortunately I didn't even get that chance to order food because the service was not so great, Sorry.

A delightful bistro café restaurant.
We had the moules mariniere which were sweet, juicy and perfectly cooked. These were served with garlic bread and chips which were both excellent too. I took my sister and we are both visually impaired. The staff could not have been more helpful and attentive. We had a wonderful time.

Updated after 2nd visit! - We visited again for lunch this time and it was truly delicious! My husband had the special of beef bourguignon which was amazing and so fresh and clearly homemade! My quiche was also fab. Great service from the lovely couple who run it. A true gem! Give it a try if in Southwell! First visit review - Lovely place! Stopped in for morning coffee and homemade pastries! Lovely atmosphere and great service! Food was delicious including the chocolate tart I had as takeaway for later! Looking forward to returning soon for lunch or dinner. Would highly recommend!

This restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and lovely decor. It is small, cosy and very friendly .You can pop in for coffee and cake or have a sumptuous lunch .This place has the best boeuf bourgignon of any French restaurant I have visited. Also sells wonderful authentic patisserie .Highly recommend .

4 of us went for lunch today (13 12 22). Can't even start to Say how good the food was. Amazing place our new go to restaurant. Thank you.
