Seven Stills French Restaurant and Malt Whisky Bar/Lounge

Roz & Patrick was outstanding hosts to. Their beautiful restaurant. I cannot state enough how professional but, down to earth they were. A little bit pricey at first thought but, when you take in the whole experience of their array of whiskeys and flawless food it is 1000% worth every penny.

A wonderful Scottish French kitchen. The chef gave us interesting experience through the menu we have chosen with a lot of passion. The diner was fantastic.

If you have time left you can use there lounge to enjoy a coffee and whisky.

Rose and Patrick are fantastic! It doesn't feel like a restaurant but rather getting invited for dinner at an old friend's home. The food was absolutely amazing, easily the best lamb shank I've ever had. The escargot was prepared beautifully and the hot smoked salmon scrumptious. Now let's talk about the most amazing selection of whiskies - so many to choose from. Easily the best experience I had in Scotland🥂

We made a reservation at Seven Stills while we were passing through Dufftown on vacation on a whim and wow are we glad we did. Rose and Patrick were absolutely amazing. They welcomed us into the restaurant like we were old friends visiting for dinner. The space is beautifully decorated and feels like home. The food was outstanding, one of the best meals I've ever had anywhere, ever. Would highly recommend to anyone, you won't be disappointed!

We had an amazing experience at Seven Stills! We were fortunate enough to get a table last minute. As a visitor to the area, we saw good reviews and went for it. We were very pleased with our choice!
The drinks were great. The food was great. The setting was great. From spending time in a cozy sitting area while have a drink to a great ambiance in the whole setting and then having great conversations with the owner and chef... We just had am amazing time.

If your able to get a table, go for it! Just make the call!

Also, Michelin... not sure why you haven't recommended Seven Stills, but you need to get them added!

Really nice restaurant/whisky bar run by really nice people. A warm welcome on arrival and since I was flying solo i was offered the chance to sit at the bar which was ideal. The food was really amazing, huge portions and jam packed full of flavour. Patrick the chef took time to chat with all the customers and it was nice to hear his passion for food and using the best quality local ingredients and it certainly shows in his cooking. Patricks wife Rose runs the show front of house and does a grand job whipping up cocktails, serving food and taking time to have a wee chat on the fly. The whisky selection is huge so there's bound to be plenty of choice for even the fussiest connoisseur. If you're in the area do yourself a favour and book a table I doubt there's many better places to eat a meal within a couple of hundred miles.
