Ordered a meal spent about £20.00 only for half of it to absolutely stink of cigarette smoke. We couldn't eat two out of the five items because of this. Safe to say will never be ordering from the Ware branch again.

Chapter 1: Manners Maketh the Huck
As I walked through ware High Street, in the bizarre time of a Saturday where a man can find the somewhat cosy aura of a dreary afternoon being replaced by the in-ya-face noise of a road preparing to bustle until the early hours of the morning, I began to think of a quote by Louis XIV. The French King had once stated that 'first feelings are always the most natural'. Admittedly, my first feelings of the place I was about to visit had been mixed. However, I was prepared to go in with an open mind. Although Louis and I had both debacled on first impressions, Louis XIV would have been on his way to his own execution, I was on my way to Huckleberry Chicken.

More specifically, the Ware branch. Huckleberry has appeared to have built itself a cult reputation across Hertfordshire, with more than 2 shops in the franchise. Yet, I was still to break my huckle fast, but I had heard that the place had improved with flying colours over roughly the past 18 months. I tentatively walked into the shop, after skimming the menu beforehand, and was greeted by some peppy staff. Being a man of culture, I ordered a fillet burger for the incredibly reasonable price of just over £3. I was served in well under one hour.

The burger came in a cute box. To my delight, the meal itself ticked all the boxes. Placed between two soft buns was a luscious bit of chicken that was perfectly cooked. An underrated part of the meal that would go straight past the average huckleberry consumers' taste buds was the mayonnaise. I thought it had enough flavour to bring the burger to the next level yet was not overpowering enough to drown out everything else. Очень вкусно!

Intrigued by what else is flirting upon the huckleberry grapevine, word on the street (or should I say bone) is that there is more to come from this local chicken eatery. You see, if chicken was not satisfactory enough for the customers, apparently lamb and beef will be served in the near future to complete the holy trinity of meaty nosh. I, for one, am rather capitulated by how the local, devoted Hucklers will react to this rather Liberal move to broaden the menu.

All in all I was charmed by my fillet burger. A wise man once said that the best way to review something is to decide whether you will have it again. So will I be back through the huckleberry doors in the future? I deem it likely. Perhaps first feelings aren't always the most natural.

Haven't ordered from here for a long time, used to love the food so was looking forward to it. Ordered the food at 6:17 on a Friday night with an eta for delivery of 65 mins. Numerous phone calls after an hour and a half of waiting I was told the food had been in the drivers rack for 10 mins and should be going soon. Eventually at 8:45, 2 and a half hours later, the food arrived cold with raw chips! When I called up again to complain, nobody cared. 2 small hungry kids crying as their food was inedible. Quickly.ordered a mcdonalds and was delivered swiftly and kids were happy again. What was £30 for a takeaway turned into £55, asked for a refund and was told no. If I didn't have the kids with me I would've been straight down to that shop!
Never ordering again, this was from the ware branch.

The chicken is dry as anything, the burger buns was vile, not sure what they've done to the buns! Never again! Don't waste your hard earn cash guys!!!
If I could I would give zero stars!

After waiting 3 hours for my food to be delivered I contacted the store and my food was supposedly out for delivery… 40 mins later I called again to see where it was and got told they had found my ticket on the floor and delivery would be another 45 mins then the person who was on the phone rudely told me to just cancel my order… atrocious service this place has really gone down hill
