King Valley Fried Chicken House

Absolutely terrible. I ordered a standard chicken & chips meal; the chips were freshly fried and hot to be fair, but the chicken had obviously been sitting under a weak heat lamp all day and was not only dry as a bone, but barely warm to boot.

It makes me shudder to think what the quality of their burgers and doner kebabs must be like.

Fried chicken needs to be at an optimal temperature in order not to be a health hazard, and what's more hilarious is that this venue proudly displays an official FSA hygiene rating of '5'. Upon close inspection, this was received back in 2010. Standards have clearly dropped abysmally since then.

Never eating there again unless I want salmonella.

Awful. I had the weirdest smelling sausage and the chip must have been reheated. I couldn't eat it.

Badly over priced in return for not very much, don't get many chips, and sausage in batter has hardly any batter.

I just had a dona kebab the most horible thing I ever eatin hade to wait for 15 minutes and it was frozen I ask the lady who served me to try it she wouldn't that says it all £5,60 in the bin thanks a lot

Bad quality chips in what tasted like stale cooking oil, slow service, couple that work there are miserable and don’t respect their customers. On the other side of Nunhead station there is a chip shop/Chinese takeaway that does much better food and the staff smile.

Disappointed by food and prices!!!
