Gallego's Piri Piri & Pizza, Sutton

Service: 1 Star: I placed 3 orders by going in shop specifically saying I will be back in 10/15 minutes and to please keep the order ready. (Basic order made; chips chicken & a burger) Paid and went. Came back to get my order, around 15 mins later, and I waited to be assisted. Had to get attention as no one was attentive with their backs to counter. Then the 2 staff saw me and spoke amongst themselves. I got told to wait a few minutes and I asked why, they said they need to make the chips and the order will be ready. I asked why is that when I gave plenty of time and already paid. One of the staff said that they gave the batch of chips to customers that came after me. And then changed the story to wanted to give me hot chips. (I said the chips was for my 4 year old hence I specifically always order and then take food)

Food: 1 Star: Greasy wings and extremely salty. Burger had ketchup instead of burger sauce which seemed odd tasting. As this was not a request.

Disappointed on my experience in regards to customer service even though I did get an apology.

Today I had some chips with mozzarella sticks straight off the bat the chips were seasoned to perfection and very tasty and when I ate the mozzarella the cheese inside had an amazing stretch and taste.

Chicken portion are above average. Hot, fresh, juicy side breast when I visited around 130pm. Other venues fall short on keeping breast juicy, but here they seem to know the trick. Found size and flavour superior to the famous finger lickin franchise that is also located in town

Really good food, the customer service is excellent. Price is worth the quality of the food I would recommend you to try the peri peri. You won’t regret it !

Under new management... before was so much better. I don't understand why they get my order all the time wrong . Missing food , smaller portion . You complain and the staff does nothing or they are rude 😒

After ordering from this restaurant for over a year regularly via just eat and directly via their own website & app without incident. My last 3 orders using the website have been either cancelled or simply not arrived. The latest occasion being tonight which after an hour and fifteen minutes I had to call the restaurant to be told collection only! Whilst I appreciate every restaurant has bad days 3 times in a row is not acceptable.

If you are having issues with your website/app then please take them offline until they are fixed.

Such a shame as the food is great, but not much use when you can’t get it!
