Funky Chicken

Best chicken wings around for the price and there fries are amazing, super crispy but just had there whole piri chicken which was pretty bland, skin was soggy, it definitely hasnt seen a grill, so not sure how it was cooked, the leg was raw. Also had there 8 ribs and all i can say there is 'disgusting' worst ribs I've ever had, they smelt a awful. I cant comment on there pizza. There normal fried chicken is nowhere near as good as other leading shops. So only reason to go is for hot wings, they are great.

Ribs were all fat no meat chicken kids meal wasn’t cooked properly refused to cooperate and wouldn’t offer something instead or refund ! Spent 12 pound to eat just rice and can of coke and had to cook a meal for my child ! Defo never order from this place again !!!

I ordere food from funky chicken between 3 and 4 pm today 22nd feb 2017 my wifes keebab arrived the bread was hard and the meat was hard and greasy i spoke to a member of staff there and was told there are not any deliveries for the area were i live and i was also told that they could replace the kebab sometime tonight or tomorrow

Recently price is increased by 50%. It is better to ask for fresh chips. Chickens are cooked well and tasty. Can go.

If I could do a 0 review I would absolutely disgusting how they speak to you when you tell them your food is raw and hard would not refund our meal I recommend no one orders from here disgrace of a takeaway

This used to be my favourite takeaway but recently it’s gone so badly downhill I won’t ever go back. The delivery driver is rude and when turning up late just tells you they are busy and shrugs, no sorry. Then you find that items are missing but as nobody answers the phone you are out of luck.
Walking in the shop used to mean a friendly greeting from the owner or the young lady who worked there, now you get sullen staff who huff that you want them to finish a conversation and then walk out the back to carry on and leave you waiting.

Good Ol' Funky Chicken. Even though they changed the "Y" to an "E" on (most of) their signs, they are still a reliable place to get a Chicken Burger meal deal for just under £5... And, that's really all that matters.
