Chicken Shack

The lady in till thinks that she is giving us the free food. She is super rude when I changed my Oder from 2 pc chicken from 1 pc chicken. If the owner or if she is the owner just learn to respect customer. The food was ok but never going back over there.

I'm giving you 1 star rating as I specifically wrote on comment to right love you and I'm sorry on the paper as I forgot to order the misses something and now I'm in a bigger dog-house and she through the rice box in the bin give me a refund and I'll up my stars as I can't afford flowers to rekindle what's left of my relationship

Terrible customer service and will never order from there again. Left out of hours doctor with my 4 year old too late to cook, so stopped by Chicken Shack and ordered the Mega Combo (1 lemon & herb whole chicken, 1 hot whole chicken and 8 pieces also hot). I didn't check what they gave me in the bag and when I got home I noticed they did not send lemon and herb, but mild instead which my kids or myself cannot eat. I called and suggested I would order again tomorrow and they could give me a lemon & herb chicken for free. They refused and told me to drive there today to RETURN the mild one and collect the lemon & herb. Then they were suggesting that mild and lemon and herb ARE THE SAME. They just lost a potential great customer that orders every weekend. Terrible customer service, never again. If you want great chicken flavour with proper seasoning and great customer service... order from Lilos! Photo below of what I've received, including the 'salad' 😳

I have been regularly using this food establishment from the day it opened.

After having several orders being wrong and on 2 occasions having raw chicken, most would probably not go back there.

However you support local businesses. The final straw being last week. Missing items in a large order. Phoned up to get resolved and the attitude given by member of staff was disgusting. Blaming the incorrect order on us. Mannerism takes you along way.

Would not recommend this establishment. Places like this should not be trading.

Ordered from here many of times. The taste of the food is lovely and its halal. Gave the service only a 3 because we had one incident where the driver came and left the food on the door and didn't knock, must of rang our bell and left which doesn't work at the moment but I taped over it to show it doesn't. Anyway we called up as it was wet from the rain and stone cold. Basically they believed the driver and not us. Which was abit frustrating but we decided to let it slip. I just make sure I keep an eye on the tracking app so it doesn't happen again. I would recommend the chicken fillet rice box, whole/half chicken how ever big you want. My husband loves the extra hot taste and I love the bbq and my kids love the chicken fillet burger and chicken popcorn.

Been going here atleast 3 times a week last 2 years. In the past had multiple errors raw chicken etc. But had rectified. We always order large amounts. Today had a missing meal with missing salads when there always the same. Called up as they know who I am. And the staff lied then said my missing order is there come and collect. I work 3 miles away . The burger was dry and hard where its been sat for too long, and lunch is almost over. They refused to deliver or even say sorry and when I stayed well stop going he said that's fine and hung up. Very rude service and high chance order will be wrong. Won't be using again

Food has always been good...its just the customer service from the staff is very poor. Maybe its language barrier...but it just sounds so rude.

Website clearly says 15% off if you spend minimum £15.00. Spent over 20 quid..when I enquired...the guy goes sometimes u get it..sometimes u don't...lol luck of the draw I guess...guy goes it happens all the time....yet hasn't fixed it yet.

Lovely peri peri chicken, excellent flavour, texture. It’s the star item on the menu, if you love peri peri this is the place to get it in Newport!
