The Searson family are kind which reflects within the company. When helping arrange the funeral they were flexible and informative; for my family Andy and Debbie drove to Slovakia for us to bring my uncle home, giving us updates daily. Andy and Debbie are lovely people and deal with passed love ones with respect. They become apart of the family supporting everyone in a sad time.

Thank goodness I was turned away from a well known funeral directors. When i first met Andy Searson he made me feel so comfortable. I had no idea how to arrange a funeral. The Searson family were absolutely brilliant, they are kind, compassionate, friendly, and so helpfull. A year on i am still singing there praises. The memorial service held in December was so nice, i'm sorry i had to dash off but I hope to try the mulled wine this year.

When our dear uncle Sid passed away, we visited several funeral directors and found them to be cold and impersonal, whereas Searsons were the opposite. Andy and Debbie guided us through the experience of arranging our uncle's funeral with care and sensitivity. We were able to visit him in the Chapel of rest as much as we needed and were trusted with the front door key to let ourselves in whenever we needed. Andy spent a long time listening to us talking about our uncle and when he spoke at the service, it was as if he had known Sid himself. Also moving was when we drove past Sid's home with the hearse and Debbie got out to walk slowly in front of the hearse. There were many other personal touches too numerous to mention that eased the pathway through the sadness we were feeling.
We would always recommend Searsons as a caring and compassionate family funeral service that treats bereaved families and their loved ones as individuals, with the dignity and respect they deserve and need during such times of sadness.
Thank you to all the Searson family.

When enquiring which of the Funeral Directors we should use, I had a good feeling about Searson's from the beginning, and they did not let us down. Their whole family supported us through our difficult time, as they still do at the Searsons's Annual get together for all. Once a year the Searson's arrange for all their clients to meet and share their memories of the one's they have lost, whilst enjoying some Searson's special mulled wine. From the heart, I can genuinely say that they offer an extraordinary service that will hold dear to us forever.

When our Father passed away in July 2009 the Searson family was recommended to us by a friend who had lost her mother.
From the moment we met Andy and Debbie we all knew that they were the right firm to be with. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they listened to all of our worries, (there are 5 of us siblings) and their infinate patience with each one of us trying to tell our own point of view and their complete understanding with everything that we were going through.
We cannot express just how much effort they put into making sure that what is an extradinarily emotional time was made easier to bear with their excellence.

Our son passed away in Slovakia, it was a daunting task even to know where to start with the funeral arrangements. We decided to visit the Searson Family Funerals, as soon as we began to discuss our sons death with him being abroad Andy suggested that he and Debbie would drive to Slovakia to drive him home for us. They are a really personal buisness and soon had us feeling more at ease. Flexible, informative and kind is the best way to describe them. Taking all of our preferences and feelings into consideration. Andy even went to the lengths of learning enough Slovak language to greet the Slovakian family who had travelled over for the funeral. There arn't or never will be enough words to thank them .

I would highly recommend Searsons. Their level of service and kindness went over and above what you would hope for. It really helped with our grieving process. Andy gave us so much time for planning the eulogy and he did a wonderful job - his gentle humour and friendly professionalism made a real difference. A lovely family.
