All the staff we met from B Matthews Shirley were respectful, caring and so helpful at every stage of my fathers funeral. Everything felt so personal to us. They took the stress and worry out of all the arrangements at this very hard time and helped us concentrate on my dad.

I cant thank the team enough for their compassion and dignity while having mum in their care and the funeral ceremony.
But honestly sam was absolutely outstanding from start to finish, the way she professionally composes herself while dealing with the family is just short or incredible. She made the whole process that bit more bareable. Shes absolutely incredible and i completely understand why she works in this profession because everyone need someone as kind heart as her while going through some of the hardest moments of their life.

I have not organised a funeral before but I must say the process was made easy with the caring and sensitive approach of all the staff. To the office staff right through to the staff on the day of my mother's funeral my family would like to say a big thank you. I would certainly highly recommend you.

Sam at B Matthews in Shirley was fantastic from start to finish. She has been kind, caring, helpful & polite, Sam organised our mums funeral, she listened to us & helped us choose what we wanted whilst making sure we got what mum would have liked.
Even after the service, Sam made time for me to go there & helped me with ordering my ashes into glass ring, she went above & beyond from the moment we met her. All of the people we met throughout this time, including the drivers of the limos were absolutely brilliant & I would definitely recommend Sam & B Matthews to people in what is the hardest time of their lives.

It was my first time I have had to arrange a Funeral and it was my Mother's Funeral I had to organise. I chose B. Matthews in Shirley as my mother had B. Matthews to take care of her mother & father's Funeral plans some years ago. As soon as I had a meeting with Sam she made me feel at ease straight away with her sympathy and compassion. Sam kept me in the loop with everything with her excellent communication skills. Every time Sam contacted me about my mother's funeral organisation, she was very caring, supportive and very professional throughout. On the day of the funeral B. Matthews arrived at the Church where my mother wanted to go from to the crematorium. Right from the Church to the Crematorium they managed the whole process throughout with respect and dignity. Even the day after the funeral Sam called me to see how things were. I can't thank and praise B. Matthews enough for their first-class service.

I was incredibly impressed with Sarah and the whole team from the moment the Undertakers took my Father into their care to the moment the coffin arrived at the Crematorium. All staff were utterly amazing: polite, courteous and understanding. Nothing was too much trouble. They took pride in ensuring the day went smoothly and were very helpful throughout. I couldn't have asked for a better service and would recommend them to all.

We are extremely happy with the Service we received, Samantha in Shirley Branch couldn't do enough to help us, nothing was too much trouble or too difficult. Always thoughtful of her clients and their family. Samantha would regularly phone and check if everything was ok and could she help with anything. Samantha kept calling to try and get our mum into their care as soon as possible so they could look after our mum properly. Arranging the funeral was straight forward with Samantha and everything we received on the day was perfect. Would highly recommend this branch.
