Paul from Secure Haven has been very helpful and caring at this difficult time. Everything was explained in detail and various options offered in every aspect of the funeral so that we could tailor the whole thing to our exact wishes. The celebrant, Jill, that Secure Haven recommended was brilliant and gave a beautiful and fitting eulogy that summed up my late husband perfectly. Many of the guests at the funeral said what a lovely job she did. As this is the first time I’ve had to arrange a funeral I had many questions and Paul was always available by phone and email to answer my queries promptly. Nothing was too much trouble for Secure Haven and I would definitely recommend them.

I have been meaning to leave Secure Haven a review for a while now and with it coming up to the one year anniversary of my father's funeral, I felt compelled to do so now. Before choosing Secure Haven, everything regarding my father's death (including other establishments who had been involved) had been shambolic and honestly quite traumatic for my family. As soon as Secure Haven took over and we had Paul helping us, everything fell back in to place. Paul was very respectful towards my father and sensitive towards me and my family. We were guided through every decision we had to make and Paul was very accommodating to ensure that we never felt stressed by the funeral arrangements on top of our grief. The funeral was so perfect and so personalised that a year on we can find great comfort in knowing that we have our father the perfect send off.

My husband passed away unexpectedly in very sad circumstances.
Myself, my son and daughter in law had no idea how to arrange a funeral, and how to deal with the coroners office.
We choose secure haven after reading the reviews for them.
From the first phone call Paul looked after us like his family. Paul explained everything we needed to know about arranging a funeral. The company offers some very nice packages, which we could add any extra to that we wanted. They offer a webcast for anyone that could not attend on the day, people who watched it said it was excellent and they could see and hear the whole service. We had a lovely photo tribute shown onto a screen whilst our chosen song was played. We also choose a lovely order of service, this was printed to the highest quality. The wicker casket we choose was just beautiful. The chapel of rest was very peaceful where myself and family visited my husband, never a rush we spent as long as we wished with him and as many times as we wanted to visit. There was always a cup of tea or coffee on offer. Our flowers were beautiful and this was arranged with a florist who is known to Secure Haven. The florist attended the morning of the funeral to add a flower banner to the coffin, again it was just perfect. Paul and Cheryl were at all times friendly, professional and most of all caring, nothing was too much trouble, they accommodated all our wishes.
The pricing was all transparent and we were informed at every step of cost, nothing was hidden.
I and my family have no hesitation in recommending Secure Haven to anyone in their time of need.

Cheryl and the team at Secure Haven provided a world class service for my late father's funeral and I would highly recommend them to others. Losing someone is the hardest thing to have to go through. Cheryl's personal and warm approach, at a time where our family was very vulnerable, was very helpful. She removed the stress out of organising the funeral, something I thought would be overwhelming. The team were very genuine and empathetic and I believe they give their all to their customers. It felt like we were talking to family and I think they took the task of organising the funeral and delivering the perfect day very personally. One member of my family even swore he'd met Cheryl before! Their flexibility surprised me till the final day and they were willing to make any changes we asked for at a moment's notice. Cheryl prioritised getting to know my family and my father which meant she had an idea of our wishes and added personal touches that I didn't think of. Our celebrant, Wanda, was also sublime and I am amazed at how she created such an accurate picture of my father's life from the scattered memories of my family - we didn't make it easy for her, jumping from one era to another. Her approach and questions made it easy for us to share who he was and spending time with her helped me personally to think back to happier times beyond my grief. The day was the perfect send off and exactly what my father would have wanted, thanks to Secure Haven. It reflected him and I think that was only possible because of the time and care invested by the team to genuinely want to know him and our family. Everyone who attended has said similar things. The display of professionalism was admirable and the heartfelt words said very touching. Since the day, friends, family and charities have been able to benefit from the online tribute set up by the company and it is something we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

I was recommended Secure haven funeral directors after losing my dad to Covid-19.
My mum being hospitalised with Covid and my self also in a very bad way with it, i was struggling to cope with anything, but Secure Haven took very good care of me and my family, they couldn’t have been more helpful to be honest.
